Mytime, I still don't know why your son needed a pass to come home.  I saw JSM ask you in her thread but didn't see you answer.  Is he serving in the military?

Hugs, Magic

I must have missed JSM's post.  NO Magic Eyes, my son is a private school right now!

Hmmm, now I am even more curious?  How can they keep your son from you?  I wish my grandchildren could go to private schools, especially for high school.  Our high schools here are getting very, very scary.  So sad, when my daughter went to the same high school it was an excellent one and now it is like a major crime scene area.  I was always for the voucher system, to let parents decide where to spend their money.  Either that or they really need to make schools a safer place.  I am sorry you are missing your baby.

GE - were you a teacher?
I was a pre- school teacher & director, the last school I worked at was a church school, I ended up running the pre- school and the after school program with the grade school kids. K-6th. We had so much fun, I would match the activities to what the kids were doing in their regular class room. I truly loved going to work, didn't make a whole lot, but received much more from the kids than money could ever buy.

Hey Green eyes, i didn't know you were a teacher!  My sister just got her degree in elem. ed. and she is absolutely the best person i know to be a teacher. She is so creative, caring and focused & she graduated with a 4.0 gpa!  She starts her new job in a couple of weeks! You have to really love it because the money just isn't there; esp. where we live in MS. Love ya!!

Klaas, what do you feed your dogs?  Please share, monkeys need to know!

Pedigree dry and canned.  Funny because it was one of the few brands that weren't involved in that recall last year.  Both of my dogs are doing great and they almost never get sick.  One gets ear problems but that's about all.  They are 11.5 and 13.5 and still act like pups.  I get it at the grocery store.  Also, one of them loves fruit and vegis

That is what we had fed our dogs for years.  Then when the older passed away, and the Boston became ill, the vet suggested the Nutro Natural Choice for Sensitive Stomach (w/oatmeal) so we changed.  Ultimately, she'd had a relapse of lyme disease which we think was the real issue.  We almost lost her.  She's 11.5 and doing well, now, so I wouldn't change her food.  I do add a little cooked chicken or beef to the mix of dry & canned.

Mytime - I will let you guys go and see if you make it out okay first!   But, if Klaas hears about my tools and my mass skills on rehab - I might get invited!  Now, if I could just finish my trim work my basement finish job would be done!

Yeah and if you are ever at the car wash and one of those biting flies bites your leg while wearing shorts and washing the car.................... well, that water sprayer is called a jet for a reason!   Took months to heal.  So much for a higher education, eh?
