I was recently invited to a wedding that will be held outside at the Lincoln Park Zoo Pavillion with the reception in the Wrigley Field bleachers new restaurant/bar in center field.  I just purchased on-line the following to go with a sand-colored linen suit, as I don't think my Birkenstocks will cut it.  You think Dol** would have approved?

...and if you want to know what size I purchased, we can talk in private.        Monkey Devil!

I got kicked out of the cage,so I went to finish cutting grass.
Came back in after falling in armadillo hole to find hubby asleep on the couch.

Have you run him outside to the shop yet??  Monkey Devil!

I can't.I'm not talking to him.I guess I could use sign language.   Monkey Devil!
I saw a tiny bay rabbit while I was outside and it didn't run from the lawnmower.I scooted him into the bushes with my foot.Last week Digger found a tiny baby turtle.  an angelic monkey
It's been cool the last couple of nights.Maybe the critters are going crazy.Yesterday I saw 3 turkeys, and 2 does with a new baby deer.It still had it's spots.

We got lotsa new baby deer.  There is a yard down the street that often has 5 or six little spotted babies, with one doe.  Guess she's babysitting while the other does forage.  I left my garage door open this past weekend, and there were a couple of deer in there trying to get into my bird seed stored there.   Some feed the deer around here and they get too friendly.

Oh yeah, they are pretty, but they can do some damage. We had a local guy who had a deer to run out in front of his car and busted the windshield and cut him up pretty bad. That always scares me,cause usually there is more than one deer crossing the road when they jump out.

You have enough to contend with without armadillos.

They have invaded the south. They are places that they were never seen before. If you run over one of them in a big rig, they jump up under the truck and can tear off the air lines, or cross-over fuel lines. You can hear them bang against the bottom, and you just pray that nothing went wrong until you can pull over to check.

OH Fanny, you know I'm a die-hard Buckeye fan.  I can't help it, born and raised. it's like a double edge sword.  We've had some descent teams (beating UofM to me is most important) but the Big 10 is surely lacking these days.  When you play 2 MAC teams in your schedule you deserve no respect. My son keeps asking me why all of the Ohio teams stink and yet I still rout for them.  I just tell him IDK but he can pick what ever team he wants!

I hate to break it to you, but my hubby is from Michigan! But he really is a Michigan State fan.          Running again!!!

We had deer whistles on our trucks. You couldn't hear them but the deer could. Didn't always work, though. I never hit one, but they could tear up a tractor really quick because the body is mostly fiberglass.  The oddest thing I ever saw was a solid white wolf running across the road in Nevada.  Amazing!

The principle of “Size Matters” is at its essence, a basic preference found in all humans. Given the choice between large and small, three out of four people will gravitate towards the larger size thing that pleases them most.

But why?

Bigger is most often associated with better value, and sometime associated with more filling, more generous, a better deal or simply just too good to be true.

In nature it is normal for a young man to emulate his father, just as it is natural for a young woman to envy Hello Kitty. Young boys hope to grow up and be “big like daddy” (or in some cases Uncle-Whoever-Mom-Is-Screwing-This-Week), and young girls hope to grow up and be just like Shakira.

While the girls are busy playing house, curious boys are mastering their mathematical skills and visual calculus – both of which will help them judge whether or not they will be big and strong like their fathers, well endowed with genetic skills that will help them be popular when they grow up. Those that sadly discover that fate is a cruel mistress will need these same skills to become Engineers or banking tycoons, because a good solid income means stability, and the financial wherewithal to afford a Corvette.

After all, chicks dig guys with Corvettes and big bank accounts, right?

And these are not imaginary animals either.
You'd think with all the houses around you wouldn't see all these critters. But there is still plenty of woods and pasture land.Takes about 30 minutes to get to town if you drive like a normal person.

That would be so awesome. You know I had my house on the market for a while, and my mom was going crazy cause I told her I wanted to move further out because I love seeing all the different animals.
She doesn't think it's safe anymore.I told her God's not making any more land,we better get some while we can.  The way things are looking now,I don't know what I'll do.
