i just assumed everyone would pay X$ a month and then we could all go to the doctor when we needed to....the problem lies with people like me who need to go to the dr., don't have the money at the time (i do but i know many who have no savings) but aren't willing to go to the er....and to be truthful and i am posting FACT the last time i went to the er i had slipped at work and broke my tail-bone...my manager drives me to the hospital, i walk in a tell them i need an x-ray, i slipped at work and think my tail-bone is broken...so they take my temp and blood pressure in a little side room and then ask me to have a seat (i choose to stand lol) until they call for me...so they call, i strip, get x-rayed, and then wait in a room for a dr to tell me yes, it is a broken tail-bone, heres a scrip for 30 hydro-codone and make sure you go to the window before you leave...so i go to the window and the lady says they expect payment for my visit
i then explain that i have no money and she tells me there is an atm down the hall (i chit you not) i again try to explain that this had happened at work, my purse was Still At work, and all i had was $12 in my waitress apron..she gets this look and says, oh, well than take this to your job and have them fill it out and fax it back in...

Mamacrazy,don't feel bad.You were thinking what a lot of other people were thinking.My hubby thought oh great we all get coverage ,and it's gonna be cheap or free.It is finally sinking in,and I hope everyone else will stop and pay attention.We are getting screwed.
The sick and elderly will not survive this.
Our health care system need improvement but this is not the way.

President Obama has irked close allies in Congress by declaring he has the right to ignore legislation on constitutional grounds after having criticized George W. Bush for doing the same.

Four senior House Democrats on Tuesday said they were "surprised" and "chagrined" by Obama's declaration in June that he doesn't have to comply with provisions in a war spending bill that puts conditions on aid provided to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

In a signing statement accompanying the $106 billion bill, Obama said he wouldn't allow the legislation to interfere with his authority as president to conduct foreign policy and negotiate with other governments.

Trimm I skimmed that article, one thing that popped out at me is he says Medicare reimbursements will go up. That is utter BS, they have been going down and continue to go down each year. I hate this Administration MORE than I hate KC, George, Lee and Cindy COMBINED!!!!!

I saw a doctor on the news early this morning who said he is getting out of the AMA,because he is not being fairly represented.He won't go along with this horse chit.
