This is how I feel right now.

It was many years before I could bring myself to go in my daddy's shop. My mother wouldn't ever go inside, just kept it locked. After she died many years later, I tried, I really did. My son's and nephews took some things with my blessings. I could never go back inside again. I left it the same way for the next buyer. Going through my mother's clothes and personal effects were just as hard. It took me literally years before I could do it, and it was just as hard. I have her jewelry box, and each time I open it, I still get a whiff of her perfume for some reason. I know that doesn't sound reasonable, but I do.

an angelic monkey   When my mother died, my dad insisted on me and him going through all my mother's things, I have all my mother's jewelry, and we gave my mother's clothes to different charities and friends. I still don't feel comfortable by doing all this right away, but I didn't want him mad at me. It is all very complicated. My mother collected dolls, and I found out my dad gave all her dolls away, he is not speaking to that person now, and I would love to call her in Wisconsin and tell her to get my mother's dolls together, and I will pick them up when I go visit.

Maybe you should do just that. It can't hurt, and maybe you could get them and give them a loving home.  an angelic monkey

Obama and the Iraq Prime M. are getting ready for a news conference.  Seems that the Iraqi's have not been forthcoming in their part of the US withdawal and have not upheld their part of the agreement.  Per Shep.  Imagine that???

I would love a good car chase right now.
Not only that, I'll take something happening so Obama can't speak tonight

I can't bare the thought, as folks are both 83 and will see them next month.   Be strong, Fanny

I'm so sorry.   Big Hugs.   Maybe you really should call this person and ask for the dolls.   They may be understanding about it.

Oh Boy!!! Instead of the PM being on the hot seat, our service men are now because of new photo's of abuse to combatants in Iraq and that the military did not train the Iraqi soldiers poperly. Per General Mullin's sensitive memo.    I think I am going to go into one of my rants!!!! I would go stomping off for a walk but it is raining.....
