Oh Boy!!! Instead of the PM being on the hot seat, our service men are now because of new photo's of abuse to combatants in Iraq and that the military did not train the Iraqi soldiers poperly. Per General Mullin's sensitive memo.    I think I am going to go into one of my rants!!!! I would go stomping off for a walk but it is raining.....

Awwww, my mom (74) drives me nuts sometimes (especially with her computer issues, lol) but I love every minute I get to spend with her.  Miss my dad, every day. It has now been 3yrs.

Boehner just said we will probably hear some myths repeated tonight when O' speaks.   

One the few Ohio politician's that I can be proud of....at times. 

I heard Gov. Strickland say that we don't need any more money here in Akron.  I guess it's all wine & roses here...now that the panhandlers have to have permits.  Gangs beating citizens up left & right, schools suck, etc.

I agree too.   Enjoy your visit next month.   When my hubby goes to visit his 85 year old mom, he tries to get a bunch of chores and such done around her house.   I always fuss at him to just visit and quit looking for jobs to do for her.   She can hire a handy man after he leaves - but she probably really just wants him to talk to her and spend time with HER.

Hi, Monkies--

Trim, it's always the fault of the Americans and what is discouraging, is that it is our own so-called "Leaders" who disparage their own country.

And Obama does have his own networks--CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC.   Last night the guy who was substituting for Anderson Cooper had a chart showing how popular various presidents were at this point in their first term.  There was Truman and Reagan and Kennedy, several others, and then Obama.  The guy substituting said that George W. Bush came in slightly above Obama, but they didn't have his name on the chart.  No explanation. 

But it does look as if the Socialist Health Program is stymied temporarily.  He's gonna get on TV and tell horror stories and sad anecdotes about how poor our health care is.  Those anecdotes are the exception, not the rule. I'm alive because of the excellent quality of our health care and was almost dead because of care I received in London. I just don't want that for my country.

Also when I was in London a short time ago I read that their National Health Service could not make good on one of the promises they had made.  It seems they still have medical wards.  They are integrated, male and female.  I don't know how many people are in each ward, but I know we haven't had wards for many years.  The Health service had promised the public that they would separate the sexes in the wards, but had found they couldn't do it.  It seems to me it would be easy.  Just say, OK, men in this ward, and women in the other.  Too easy, I guess.  Does nobody in our government have any common sense? I fear that that is what we have to look forward to.  That, and someone in the government who has no medical experience deciding who will live and who will die.  JSM mentioned last night Hitler and Mengele.  I fear that is our future.

It was mentioned on FOX that if Ted Kennedy were on the British Health System, he would have waited six months for his brain surgery and he wouldn't have made it this far.  Even he doesn't understand what he is proposing.  He could not have had surgery a couple of days after the tumor was discovered. He would have died.  I guess that's the future he wants for us peasants.

I doubt if you will find them. It was said that General Mullin had them and it was in his sensitive memo....
