Tevye, here are the instructions I have for embedded youtube:

1.  Click EMBEDDED link & copy
2.  Paste in message
3.  Preview:
     Use the hyperlink showing that ents in -1 (and starts with http)
4.  Copy that link
5.  delete the ones in your post
6.  Paste the new link
7.  Highlight
8.  Click Flash
9.  Change size from 200,200 to 600,485

(The above instructions were posted by another monkey & I can't remember who.

(I modified steps 3 - 6.  Instead of going to preview, I just highlight & delete anything before http and anything after the -1.  Then I follow the rest of the instructions & preview it to make sure.

A poster recently circulated depicting President Obama as the "Joker" has created quite a stir, prompting Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson to call it "politically mean-spirited and dangerous." But comparing the commander in chief to Batman's nemesis is nothing new in American political satire, as former President George W. Bush certainly knows. He appeared in a similar image submitted to Vanity Fair in July 2008.

What's really weird, my husband came home with a big picture of Obama as the Joker, I said to him, so what do you think? He likes it, I swear to God I'm losing my mind? I didn't expect that from him.

We all have days like that.  I sometimes say things that may hurt someone's feelings & I don't even realize it until later.  So I can only hope that this too shall pass for you.  I'm not saying you hurt anyone's feelings, but that you got your feelings hurt.

Fanny, I was afraid you were mad at me. My depression is coming back pretty bad again, and so I am adjusting my meds, instead of a half of zoloft a day, I'm going to take half in the morning and half in the afternoon. Maybe I won't be so crabby and mean. If I still am, I'll stop playing doctor and call the doctor. But it usually is a waste of time anyway. I've become so jaded, and I guess because I don't expect much from people, I should be more outraged with things, but I sort of have given up. So now that I have spilled my guts I'm going to go play in the yard, and I hope to come back to at least one story that is happy. There has to be something that is happy. Trimm you will have a nice day today with your granddaughter's birthday, to be 12 years old again  Say Happy Birthday from me.

This is the instructions that TEVYE gave me to cut stacks.

If I want to trim your quote, I highlight the part that starts with [ quote author=Fanny Mae link=topic=5259.msg834483#msg834483 date=1244516625 ] ( I purposely put an extra space in there for demonstrative purposes) and keep highlighting till I reach the [/ quote] part. Then I hit delete...or just put my cursor next to the [ /quote] part and start typing. When I hit "preview", all that should show up is the new stuff I've written. does that make sense?

Them red things, the [ quote] and [/quote ] are the biggies...but not as big as the big red ban button!

Fanny, thanks for covering for me while I was out langeria (WTH, the spellfixer is ignoring me...underwear, ok???shopping! Sorry about the hard time you got (if I was part of it, I'm really sorry, but don't recall it...) but am glad you're back!
