Maybe MLachester coerced and manipulated Lindseys feelings so much that Lindsey confided in her for whatever. Maybe Lindsey didn't want to go home and somehow made a secret phone call to MLachester @KK's house and called her. Maybe they met somewhere going up the hill on 6th so no one would see? Who knows jus saying, have all phone records been checked, of all said people?  MLachesters would need to be checked as well for all claims she made public against the family.

No. Neither of the persons (there was 2) were named.

i wonder why not?  and i wonder if ????  have they talked to anyone it town?  i just wonder about the witnesses 

I don't know. Perhaps LE asked that their names not be mentioned publicly. Perhaps they (the witnesses) asked LE not to identify them,, so they wouldn't be hounded by media or have their lives picked apart on the internet.

i just find it odd that one one side you have kk talking and on the other you have ml talking but the last 2 to see her i'm assuming #1 before she got to kk's house and then #2 after she left have stayed mum the entire time

Actually witness #1 saw Lindsey before(broke up fight,sent Josh home)and after Lindsey left KaraK's house(saw Lindsey on her way to work in in/for another county)

i guess maybe the best thing for us all to do is to start from the beginning again with the facts....i think everyone in here is doing a good job of keeping our minds open about different theories and ideas.  it's ok for us all to change our mind everyday as to what we think could have happened to lindsey, being able to keep an open mind and explore different ideas is a gift

lindsey was afraid of something, as evidenced by her myspace page where she wrote that she thought something bad was going to happen... i guess the next logical question would be "is this just a coincidence that she wrote this and then went missing?" if it's not just a coincidence then i think that would point to someone she knows being involved in her disapperance, or it could be her talking about the living environment in her home (maybe she was being abused, however in the eyes of the law there's a difference between discipline and abuse, and yes parents can hit their kids as long as they dont leave marks or cause serious pain or impairment of functioning-not sayin i agree with it, but its the law). 

i could also see this case being similar to the jessica lunsford case. with a so visiting or staying with a relative temporarily in the area.

That is very upsetting to me that Lindsey was afraid something bad was going to happen, at first I thought maybe an active imagination maybe from reading or watching somekind of scary book or movie. Then I thought maybe someone in the town was making her scared, then when I read what Marilyn wrote I thought her brother. But what if it was her mom? Maybe her mom lost her temper and she was scared of that and getting into trouble? All I know is that when I first started reading about Lindsey something came over me and I was very frightened, I have never had that happen before following anyother case.

No Rose - I had the same horrible feeling when I heard about this case.  The one that I still can't follow on an intense or semi intense level is Sandra Cantu.  While I get a feeling of darkness in this case, it is for me no where near the visceral reaction I have when I try to get to far into Sandra's case.

I know who it is, the name is not public and no one has ever mentioned this name anywhere that I know of.

just curious, why does it really matter if she had a roomate or not?  I know It would mean she (or someone) is lying- i get that.  But does it really matter when it comes to Lindsey?  Is this guy a thug?
