Nancy Grace...did you just wake up???  WTH!

Is anyone watching NG right now?  I am shocked at what Mark Klaas said

I think Mark Klaas is giving mom the benefit of the doubt and he thinks the BF is the one responsible. jmo

I am so angry. If they can tell he was murdered and that it wasn't an accident, it means more than likely little man suffered. I hope the monster(s) responsible are behind bars before the week is out or the get hit by a bus, or stuck dead by lightening. Whichever is quicker.
To know that they are out there free to walk the streets makes my blood boil.

Nancy has yet to cover Robert's case in depth, but it the body has been confirmed as Robert's so

Right now NG is covering a case of an exhausted mother dealing with an unruly child inside of a store. If every single moment of my life was recorded by cameras I'd be in jail myself for some of things I've done.

I'm not a parent, but children are exhausting. I've had people cut their eyes at me when I wouldn't quiet one of my nieces inside of a store (that was already noisy). Sometimes you just give up, like this mother did. I don't think she should've been arrested.

That's just my opinion. I don't condone child abuse, but IMO this wasn't child abuse. Not even close.

There are alternatives to dragging a child along on the floor with a leash.
Couldn't the Mother has used a shopping cart to put the little boy in?

The leash was around the childs neck..to me thats not right

do you think they think its more than two people because he said that they "will hold those responsible"... just seeing the news conference, its sooo clear that they pretty much know what happened.  ugh, this is such a sin..

as far as the 7 year old little girl witness, i believe it to be credible.  and the 7 30 pm timeline sounds like it could be accurate as well.
I noticed that also, those responsible

Thanks klaas and Leroy and all for the updates.

no rose, Mark said that Robert's mom left the police station in tears yesterday having to be supported by two family members just to walk, much like he and his wife reacted after being told Polly was dead.

yea, im still a little confused on the timeline of the case but i also think that it's highly possible that the bf killed robert when mom was at work. i guess with a clearer timeline i would be more sure of what the mother's role was in all of this.  based on w ::MonkeyLaugh::itnesses that saw him at 7 30pm, and if mom got home from work at 9, i dont know if thats enough time for the bf to kill him, clean up blood, and bury him in his friends back yard (which i strongly believe happened) before the mother got back from work.
I thought the mother saw him that night around 9.30 said he wanted to go to a party-I could be wrong-wouldnt be the first time ::MonkeyLaugh::I dont trust anything mommy dearest says anyway.

It was reported mom wasn't home. It's never been confirmed by LE where Melissa was or was not.

Police initially said the boy may have been wanting to go to a party, but then stepped back, saying that might not be true. They did the same on an early report that Robert was last seen at the playground.
  Thanks

Thank-you, either she is totally devastated because she doesn't know what happened, or she is a good actress

i believe the mom had to be involved somewhat, maybe covering up for the bf since they both gave that bs timeline to the police in the beginning about a birthday party he wanted to go to that was late at night.

I think the mom just told the police what the BF had told her. What she believed to be true. It's been reported she was at work. Though not confirmed by LE. We will have to wait and see.

Even if she wasn't involved, her hands are not completely clean. To leave Robert with her boyfriend, the same BF that wasn't allowed to be around her daughter unsupervised, she has some guilt in this.

First of all if the mother drags around her child on a leash-could be why the child is so difficult.  All of us who have children at one time or another have had to deal with a crying child in a mall.  I would bet none us went to a pet store to buy a leash.

Sorry to be o/t again but my perception of what I saw was brutal.
The Mother did not look exhausted, although that is no excuse, she appeared to have lots of energy dragging that child along the aisles.  I'm glad she has been picked up and this child will be spared this abuse and indignity in the future.

no that isn't right...but it was one of those baby-harness thingies that fit around the torso and have a 'leash' attached to the back...i saw the vid and well...i don't know... i have never owned one of those, and when my kid won't budge i just pick her up and move her...but i could see on the other hand where a mother would say fine, if your not gonna walk i'll just drag you...i don't agree with her but the kid doesn't seem affected.  thats one for the courts.  not me.

I dont care if the mother actually killed Robert or not.  She put him in harms way  with the nut of a boyfriend -  but she is not playing with a full deck fracturing her infant  head---WHY DO THIS NUT CASES HAVE CHILDREN-why dont they just do their drugs or whatever and live their life without bring a child into the world

Some of us even managed to shop with multiple rowdy children without resorting to a leash.

Why in the world don't people like Robert's mother just have themselves rendered permanently unable to have children instead of being so cruel to them?  They obviously don't want them, can't cope, etc.  A simple tubal ligation would prevent their giving birth to any.

Wow, he was angry. He has fire in his eyes and he is talking right to "the perps". He wants them to know he knows and it's just a matter of time.

I really have to commend Boise PD and Kern. From day one they have been nothing but professional and dedicated to not only finding Robert but keeping the focus on Robert.

They called in all the right agencies, search teams and asked for help from the public when they needed it. They kept the media updated every day. Sometimes twice a day. They kept the focus on Robert and their eyes on the ball.  Although we wanted more details regarding time line and their investigation, they have played it close to the chest.

They are a fine bunch of LE and I am proud they are in little man's corner.
