this was sealed because he was 15.  He was arrested for smoking on school property.  I am very upset by all this.  These people's lives are now out there for the public to judge.  Mathew 7: 1-2.  I do not know Evan, but do know the Whitman Family.  They are not Bad people.  They made some mistakes, who hasn't?  They are not murderers.  If you noticed most of Jennifer's court issues were for driving violations, and child support.  Mark is a new found Christian and is really trying to follow the right path.  He needs support not judgement.  I am praying constantly for all these people, including the detectives looking for Robert's killer and would appreciate it if you would do the same.  Thank you for listening.  God Bless you in all you do!

Neighbors Long to Know About Robert Manwill Investigation

Boise, Idaho -- The body of 8-year-old Robert Manwill was found Aug. 3. And just a few weeks later, there's still nothing from Boise police as to a potential suspect in his murder.

Now some people in the neighborhood where the boy originally went missing are growing concerned.

"I think everyone's wondering what's going on with the investigation," said Megan Egbert.

Egbert lives just a few blocks away. She's hoping that soon there will be some news from police, if nothing else but for a little piece of mind.

"The not knowing what happened and especially being close to here and wanting to think our neighborhood is safe," said Egbert.

Others say they'd like to know, simply because of what they've already been through as neighbors.  Many have been personally affected by the ongoing investigation.

"Yeah, it was kind of hard to deal with just because we kept having police come to our house. And like I said, we got searched twice, and the garage and everything. It was fine, we were willing to help and everything, so it was fine, but it was just kind of crazy for the last couple weeks," said Tana Loan, another neighbor.

But so far detectives are keeping anything they might know very close to the vest.

What they have said has been scant -- that Manwill was murdered, that it happened at the hands of someone he knew, and there were signs he was injured at his mother's apartment.

With nothing more to go on, the community is getting restless, and speculation is running wild.

"I think everybody has their ideas. There's a lot of speculation about the family environment -- previous charges," said Egbert.

"I think it should be dealt with the family and the police. And once they want to release a story, then they should," Loan added.

Father says son arrested in connection with Robert Manwill disappearance, death

Daniel Ehrlick Jr. has been arrested in connection with the disappearance and death of 8-year-old Robert Manwill, according to his father Daniel Ehrlick Sr.

Ehrlick Sr. said he doesn't know what the charge is or if anyone else has been arrested. Boise Police Chief Mike Masterson said he didn't have any information when contacted just before 6 p.m. Boise poice have planned a news conference for 7 tonight to announce a "major development" in the case.

Oh for the love of God how can a person hurt an innocent child like Robert and all other children.  My heart is breaking for his family right now. Sorry for the rant. JSM

I don't understand it either. It makes me angry, it makes me so angry that five minutes alone with anyone that harms a child, I could see me easily crossing the dark side....if you know what I mean.

I thought at first it was the mother due to her past history. I feel so rotten right now if she didn't have any clue to what happened to poor Robert. But I still think something is fishy about her, JMO JSM
