I think with the economy being the way it is, Aruba may as well sink. Vacations are selling off at low prices everywhere. You get a choice, go to a cheap dump like Aruba for very little money or go somewhere really nice for very little money.

I wouldn't go to that hellhole if it was a free trip with every perk imaginable!  I'd promptly tell anyone that made the offer where they could stick it.

Aruba was actually on our extended family's list of places we all might visit, we'd talked about it after visiting Curacao many years ago (before Natalee's disappearance).  They all know better than to even mention it to me now. 

No Natalee, no tourists for Aruba.  Simple as that.

Why didn't they ever show any of those photos of Joran passed out in the newspapers?  Was it because he was white, male or a judge's son?  Was he setting a good example for the children?
