I too am extremely puzzled about Dave. I really find it difficult to question him though because I do know that he has done everything in his power to find the answers. I have to believe that he has been hoodwinked by some people on Aruba. He is so desperate -- he grasped at straws. JMO

I agree that he has been hoodwinked.   It is my opinion that Dave is a weak man... made weaker by Natalee's disappearance.
I think he has allowed Robin to make decisions that he should have made himsself.  I don't think that Robin's heart is in finding Natalee and Dave has allowed her to influence his decisions.  It is easier to just go along with Robin than to put up a fight.

I agree with the bolded 100% Magnolia!

But I think that Robin hasn't had any sort of aversion to finding Natalee - rather, I think that Robin allowed herself to get hooked into some things that started out as one thing............but turned into a devastating roadblock to Dave and Beth's goal of finding their daughter.

According to the Minister of Justice and Errol Cova, PLKP party-leader, the Netherlands wants to affect the self-government of Curaçao and re-colonize the Netherlands Antilles. “We must take care that the change in the States on Curaçao will not have any consequences for Aruba” according to Croes.

We've gotten invitations to fundraisers for local hospitals, colleges, or whatnot that sometimes include black tie affairs or raffles that are big bucks.  They go right in the recycle can.  Maybe they just didn't have the head count to start with and held out until the last minute.   I know TES was in NJ looking for Julie Madsen, I think in July.

How do you KNOW that Dave and Robin have received a "compliation" of Mark Purcell's posts?

Immediately following Robin Holloway's enfamous post to BFN .... I sent a compilation of Reality, Purcell and Ramm's past posts ... past posts that reflected an Aruban agenda ... to both Robin and Dave care of their respective email addresses.  Another Natalee's Freebird did likewise.  I felt certain that Natalee's stepmother and father were being deceived and they did not have a clue.

I received a response from Robin.  She was very polite.  She articulated her words very well.  Robin implied that dwelling on the negative was not going to bring about justice for Natalee.  Not exactly her words but ... same implication.  I was so frustrated.  I could not comprehend her response.  There was no reference to the compiled posts I provided.  Those despicable words bashing Natalee ... bashing Dave and ... bashing the MB students while ... upholding the van der Sloots ... the Kalpoes ... the investigation and Julia Renfro were a none issue.  If I thought for one minute I was going to earn some Brownie badges with Natalee's family ... I was soooo wrong.

Wreck ... that was EXACTLY THREE YEARS AGO.  There is no way that a stepmother and father who originally embarked on a mission to replace the Aruban investigative team ... there is no way that a father would authored a book entitled CORRUPTION IN PARADISE ... could be deceived for so long by Mark Purcell.  There is something more ... so much more behind the flip flop.  IMO.

Dave is not weak ... he is not easily manipulated ... but if he was ... that is no defense ... no excuse ... not pass from me.  For crying out loud ... justice for his precious daughter is where it is at.  He should be willing to fight the demons of H--- for the truth encompassing the morning of May 30, 2005 ... not bow to the enemy who only objective is preventing justice from prevailing.

Page 14:  Incredibily, a publicity agent named Carla, from New York City firm that handles publicity for tourism in Aruba, tried to stop us from searching near the California Lighhouse, a tourist attraction, saying that it would be harmful to the island and bring too much negative media attention.  She said she had even discussed it with Beth and that she had agreed.  But I advised her that the search would go forward, no matter what kind of attention it brought.  Natalee made a statement when giving us those graduation tickets: "I wasn't going to give up on you."  And my statement to her now was, "I'm not going to give up on you either!"

Nothing new I reveal would convince you or others that Dave Holloway is one with his wife in regards to the reasons behind the the ongoing Mark Purcell connection.  Robin Holloway will alway be the manipulator and ... Dave Holloway is the manipulated.  Poor Dave has no will of his own.

Think about it.

Prior to the Mark Purcell connection Robin and Dave were a team along with Beth and Jug ... fighting the powers that be in Aruba to replace the investigative team that they perceived as not having justice for Natalee as an objective.

Then Mark Purcell happened.  Nothing will convince me that Dave Holloway is not one with his wife in regards to this ongoing ... three year ... relationship.

Only two month prior to that enfamous Robin post at BFN upholding the three trolls with an Aruban agenda ... Robin Holloway could have been consider a Monkey when her perception of the dynamics encompassing her stepdaughters disappearance is considered.  Then the Mark Purcell connection happen.  The words within the cover of CORRUPTION IN PARADISE implies Dave Holloway could have been a Monkey.  Then the Mark Purcell connection happened.

Magnolia ... In his/her quest to expose the corrupt investigation that was preventing justice from prevailing for Natalee Holloway ...there is not one Monkey on this forum who would have hooked up with Mark Purcell in pursuance of that quest.

Why do you think Dave and Robin Holloway flip flopped?  Why do you think Congressman Spencer Bachus flip flopped in what he had perceived as a corrupt Aruban investigation?
