Just wanted to clarify my comment...I believe DD it was everything everyone is saying from that town.

MB is not saying much which is reasonable I suppose. Maybe LE has told her not to, who knows. I don't understand certain things but then again I don't have all of the information either.

MB could have been told that Harry Oaks is nothing but a joke and how would she know. Maybe she didn't want him around because he would uncover something she wanted hidden, who knows. I think there are so many lies and mistruths from EVERYONE we may never find the truth unless Lindsey herself tell us which I pray for everyday.

Hi DD!!  Please explain how you know they found nothing in the search?  Are you working with the local LE?  From what I seen on TV, men dressed in HazMet suits had something in their hands and headed for a large truck.  As I posted early on, I believe it was chemicals(possibly for drugs).  Maybe you know if the results of the LE search was negative??  How??  I hope not from someone who's place was being searched.  I would like to know if someone knows if Lindsey was last seen wearing her bathing suit.  If so, a lot makes sense and I will focus my search in another direction.  I phoned a tip in early on and still believe this person may be involved somehow.  LE makes no mention of this individual, yet it is this person was targeted early on.  shortcake

I said they found nothing that would be obvious there was anything there to do with LB.  They of course do take things that they send to the lab to see if there is anything forensic that might connect to lindsey baum.  This is normal procedure.  They did take things from the house, but nothing that can be said to connect to this case.

they had a warrant to search for all the normal things they always search for.  However there was one thing that seemed strange to search for and that was her swimming suit.  So we now know LB must have either been wearing her swimming suit or she had it with her somewhere.   It is obvious she did not leave it at home now, or they would not have that listed on the sw.

I do have the search warrant and the receipts for items taken.

I am answering what I have permission to answer.

It seems to me they were searching for anything that might let them know if linsey had either been in the house at any time or anything to link someone there to lindsey.  Nothing out of the ordinary except for the swimming suit.  I'll see what else I can post.

the only drugs was a tiny bit of pot and a pipe.  big deal.

Hi DD.  I respect your knowledge and information.  I have two questions.  1. Who do you have to get permission from to answer questions about the search?  2.  You said you have a copy of the warrant, does it go into specifics about the bathing suit(like color,design,size,etc.).  That information could be very important, then again I may be on a wild goose chase.  Thanks in advance.  shortcake

No Problem . I have learned not to take anything personal on the board. If it brings lindsey home I dont mine being tore apart to tell you the truth. I have heard many things around town in the past but this has made me sick to my stomach. They said pieces of Lindseys clothing were found in a horse trailer and there were hairs gathered from the same place. The home they searched did belong to the golder family and they have some boys 19 and 23  that I know of . one of witch has been caught with child porn. He has a white car like the one that was mentioned that scared and was seen following girls. One works at the beehive and the search warrent was served on there home. I went to town tonight to get the mail and in walking past the bar there were a group of men very angry. Saying how if they could find the golder boy he wouldn't come out of the woods. The others calming him down. I really feel these two towns are a bit in a uproar at the moment. The pieces seem to fit. the place he worked, the car, the character, the car, the location, he had the opportunity. now the police search.

Here we go... I got home tonight and my twenty year old son came to me with a few of his friends and told me that they found some of lindseys clothing. I am just tore up... Cant find info on the web about this but if its a rumrr im thinking the person who started it needs a butt kicking. It seems to all come together from the info I WAS TOLD.The person of intrest works at the behive retirment center. The place we had spoke of with empty apartments that were not searched. He also has a white car with tinted windows. My son and his friends say he has always been a creepy guy. He is 23 years old. Has anyone heard anything? It is fact he works at the behive and drives a small white car. Im just so upset right now

Do they know a name (or just initials)?!?
dg  are the initials  he has never been brought up all thow somoen did say we should look at employees of the behive retirment center  early on. It was his house they were at searching near mox chehalis rd and forman

Thank You.. Good info. Now it is wait and see what LE does with him.

Where did the original information come from that she went home, took a bath and changed from her bathing suit to clothes.  Wasn't that from KK or her daughter?  Was that rumor, or official? MB?

I remember early on that SM members were questioning the time involved in doing that task and how long it would take.

AND.....I really want to know why MB would not welcome a dog search with open arms, and welcome any help she could get from any one.  Why would she not even speak to HO???  this makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Hi AZSunny

It was Kara K who posted that Lindsey went home following the swim and video store to bathe and change.

However ... Melissa Baum does state that the last time she saw her daughter was when Lindsey and Josh left on the journey to to the Kampen/Williams.  The implication is that Lindsey did return home following the swim and video store.  However ... I do not believe the timeframe would have allowed her the opportunity to bathe and change.  It could be that clothes were quickly thrown over the bathing suit.

According to Kara K ... Lindsey's "family" hired Harry Oaks.  This implication is that Melissa Baum did not do the hiring.  This appears to concur with what DD shared.  You are correct  AZSunny.  Melissa's reaction to the private search does not make sense.

Video store - Took place at 8:19 according to the video store records - so it happened before she went home to change. The video store is less than 1/2  block from where the girls were swimming and they went to the video store with the friends who they were swimming with

I believe the girls may have played or talked out in front of Lindsey's for a while before she went in to bathe and change which would take up some of the time

I do want to let you know I just had a visitor that Lindsey's family hired - an independent tracker renowned for helping where others have failed http://www.k9sardog.com/harryoakes.html and he says he picked up a scent nearly the same as I was told before. He cut his usual fee and is currently trying to track using his trained dogs. Pray he finds something that the others have missed!!!

its very low and can't be driven anywhere to get rid of lindsey in.  it can barely make it over speed bumps.

OMG Madibabe, Thanks for sharing that even if it is a RUMOR because it took guts to even type the words.  I so hope it is not true.

If I might ask without breaking Klaas' wishes, would this person that might be the one who took her be about 23 yrs old?

Who knows at this point if this person is responsible or not. I suggest the town wait for an arrest before becoming a lynch mob. One thing is for certain, the person(s) responsible needs to be the one arrested and not the person who maybe set up to take a fall. Lindsey deserves to have the right kind of justice.

if they found her clothes there he would be in jail
I have the receipts for everything taken from that property
its not listed.

half of those white car stories are bs.

now about the angry men....guess there are dangerous people around there after all.

madibabe, I am sitting her with the search warrant and the reciepts of exactly what was taken from that property.  people need to stop the dang rumors before someone goes over there and kills someone over bs.

People, you are reading WAY too much into the search warrant. Yes, they have the ability to tell you to leave. In fact, that's pretty standard procedure, especially when the property is so large. The reason is to secure the site in case anything is there. Taking stuff that might lead to clues, or stuff that is reaonably likely to lead to evidence, is routine in a case full of unsolved mysteries. It may or may not be evidence, but it fits the evidentiary profile. The standard for securing a search warrant isn't probable cause that the custodian of the property committed a crime. It's reasonable probability thay evidence exists there for whatever reason. It could have been deposited there by the perp without knowledge of the owner, for example. So you can't indict these people just because a search warrant was issued.

For those who would just open their doors to law enforcement in a case like this, I hope you would think long and hard about that if you're ever put in that position. There's a reason for a constitutional right against unreasonable searches and seizures. There are such things as dirty cops and overzealous prosecutors looking to raise their conviction rates. Law enforcement are people too, and just because they are law enforcement doesn't mean that they're always there to protect and serve.

Finally, these people were astute in getting an attorney. If someone was targeting your property in a missing child case, I'd hope you'd do the same. Because I doubt anyone on this board knows all of their rights. I've been practicing law for 15 years, I know what I'm talking about.

Ok, let the nanners fly. But that's okay because I think most people on this board aren't naïve enough to open their doors to unbridled searches by law enforcement in a case like this where LE is under a great amount of stress and pressure to solve it.

A missing 10 year old little girl would dictate that morally I would have no other choice to cooperate fully in the process of elimiantion.  I do believe that this would also apply to "most" people I know.

well i have never taken anything to heart besides the woman who thought she saw Lindsey. No i mean no rumors ever held water with me. this one makes me physicaly ill. my son and his friends have never spoke of the case too much. just to tell me i was obsessed and needed to stop searching the woods. tonight they brought the info to me. They all know the family and stay clear of them ALL. one of the boys have known them his whole life and know one of them was busted at school with child porn. ones myspace says something about suicide and that instead he would just murder. do u want a link?

possibly this is good news.  If clothing was found and DD you know for a fact that no such items were removed from the home/property searched that everyone is talking about -- that could mean when they executed other search warrants this weekend they could have found something?  Wonder where else they searched as they did say they had several to execute over the weekend?
