MCCLEARY, Wash. - Authorities are executing search warrants Friday at multiple locations in connection with the mysterious disappearance of an 11-year-old girl last June.
The searches, all in the McCleary area, are being carried out by the FBI, Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Office and King County Sheriff's Office.

 Lindsey Baum
Lindsey Baum disappeared June 26 while walking home from a friend's house in the small mill town of McCleary, and several searches have been carried out since then for her. None of them has turned up any evidence.

But an official said Friday that authorities have received new, credible information that there are locations in the McCleary area that may yield evidence to assist in the investigation.

Search warrants are being executed at those locations on Friday, and may continue throughout the weekend, said a spokesman for the Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Office.

Video shot by KOMO News' Air 4 showed law enforcement personnel combing at least two sites near McCleary on Friday.

At one site, investigators in protective clothing were probing an area near an old, abandoned house and large shed.

At another location, about one-eighth mile away near the intersection of Old Sand Creek Road, North Sand Creek Road and Foreman Road, a mobile King County Sheriff's Office command post was set up at a residence surrounded by junk cars.

Lindsey's disappearance has baffled and alarmed residents of McCleary, a small town where everyone knows their neighbors.

Lindsey was last seen between 9 and 10 p.m. June 26 when she left her friend's home on Maple Street, where she had been visiting.

Lindsey was going to walk the four blocks to her home on Mommsen Road, which is roughly a 10-minute walk. But something happened in that short distance - Lindsey never arrived home.

This is a developing news story. More information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

Is there a map that can be post with the locations that are being searched.

Thanks.

The following link reveals the route from Maple and 3rd to Forman.  The route is the opposite direction from Beck Street.  I am hoping somebody on the forum can post us a good road map of McCleary and the outlying areas.

Whatever the truth encompassing the disappearance of this little girl ... I hope it is forthcoming very soon.

The link also reveals the intersection of Foreman Road and Old Sand Creek Road.  How many miles would this be from the sighting of Lindsey at 5th and Maple?

TIA

Sunshine, not sure.  Wonder if anyone lives there?  Looks like they're doing some kind of work on it, possibly.  Most of those old houses have deep wells.  The one from my great-grandparents looked something like that and had the deepest well.  When it was remodeled after they passed, took a lot to fill it up.
Hope LE looks everywhere.

sebastian, sherip was here earlier, but was e-mailing dd about going on a search.  So haven't seen anyone else local since.  Are you local?  I'm 3000 miles away, depending on how the crow flies.

DD

I am confused.

When Harry Oakes findings revealed in his report is considered ... findings that the impending search will be based on ... what more can Sherip and the searchers accomplish than Harry Oakes to bring a conclusion to the Lindsey Baum case?

When Harry Oakes findings revealed in his report is considered ... findings the impending search is based on ... to avoid any misunderstandings ... would it not make sense that Harry Oakes accompanies Sherip and the searchers?

Janet

what impending search is based on.... I am giving information to Sherip which has to do with what I know.  We are not talking about HO's report.  I have other info which just so happens to coincide with his info, but the location I have is not from his info.  It is from MY info.

My misunderstanding.  I apologize.

Janet

No problem at all tomika... I know how this is all so confusing, but it is to the point now it won't be much longer.

thanks, I keep forgetting about the time difference.
yes, glad to know family of four cooperating, although it seems odd about the protective clothing, which generally can mean collecting evidence.

Doubledecker? I think that clears the edits you requested in your posts for the originals and quotes.

thank you so much, I went back and read what I said and knew that was going to get copied all over heck and back and become a horrible misunderstanding.  I really appreciate your fixing that.

My first thought with the protective clothing was Meth Lab- but evidence makes sense as well.

Sunshine, I doubt they have city water/sewer, so yes, properties have wells.  Some very deep, like 60 feet or more, some not so deep, just enough to live in a dwelling.
You are right, very scary!  This is making me very sad.  I have been praying for a miracle.
