Um, talking about my Dad and all - I have to say this. It is sorta on topic. 

Um we all know the stir and are you kidding me with Dolce and who ever else named " thought" to be connected to Dolce.

I thought at one time that I was " comfortable" not really a friend of this Monkey - who was once very well known. What " his " status is today - I have no clue. He has been named to being connected to Dolce. I did though take his Cage serious that was given to Him. Elvis Room.  I promised this so called Monkey " huge Elvis fan" that one day I would post my Father's picture ( due to Elvis was my Dad's Idol growing up) 

I did post my Dad's photo on Father's Day - My Dad's funeral was the day before. I never ever found a response from that day - from this Elvis fan.
I only saw one response - nothing to do with my post - yet it was from Always ...

Makes you Wonder doesn't it. 

Deenie? There's a memorial thread at SM, in the lounge. I believe that Peaches, (a beloved monkey who passed away after a valient fight with cancer) is the only one featured there so far, but we're all invited to place our loved ones photo on that board. I think that Klaas asked we start a seperate thread for each.......... I haven't done it, but I think I will. When Klaas made it, I remember feeling so grateful to her. One of the things that still lingers with me is the loss of sharing those I love with others I care about. By giving us that opportunity, she's helped me bridge that, and it feels good to be able to continue to introduce them to people who would be inclined to care through me. It's just a suggestion, but I think I'll do it and wanted to be sure you knew about it too. I'd feel really blessed for you to share your Dad with me.   

My CBB I am back ... I have shared enough and said enough on all the boards about My Dad- He is though in photo " when he was ripe old 18 in his Military Dress Blues- Sailor "- In the Elvis Room ... He was a handsome devil .........

I have a history with Tricycles... I did have one that I thought I was all that and more. I had a Red tricycle that had huge wooden blocks upon the pedals ..and for the first time I was allowed to ride down the sidewalk from our house - I loved my tricycle.
Tricycles in my Mind are a good thing - As the DJ I offer again a song. But this song goes with the Fun of being a kid - and riding a tricycle - Its a song that is history of living in Detroit.

I am still a kid and I will never allow anyone to take Me out of that Feeling. I love being a kid.
Bikes are part of being a kid - Bikes are freedom when your little.
I was given my first real bike when I was in kindergarten. 
My Purple Bike - which I was scared to death of - because it was so BIG and even had glitter in the paint .. had a white banana seat and lots of chrome and - it had a white woven basket with flowers on the front. I looked at it as if it were    I thought it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I was Amazed by it.  I thought This Can't be Mine. No way. Its too Much.

My Dad would come home from work and he would take me outside on the side walk - and He would hold me under my armpits and say " peddle Peddle you can do it Peddle Peddle  " and he would Run next to me ..and then let me go so I could fly .......   
I miss my Dad.

Yes I like tricycles - and I want my Tricycle Monkey back - maybe I need to go to IE. 

I know you aren't logged in but I just wanted to tell you I read your stories,but I may not respond.I really should.Every story you tell leaves me back in time if only for a moment to happier times as a kid.
When you talk I can feel she sun shining on my face,as I'm running around ,or riding my bike.
Also love the stories you tell about your Dad.You are very gifted in talk of your past.Myself,I have trouble getting it from the brain to the hand.  The story about your tricycle made my evening.I thank you for that.

  I didn't hear anything about meteors.  My friend was here with daughters overnight, we had fun.  It was kind of sad though cause I don't know when or if I'll see them again.   How the years pass.

GE? I saw a suggestion that you find a tree or object that blocks the moon, and then it takes about 15 minutes for your eyes to adjust. The article suggested getting a chair and a blanket and just watch the sky. They come in a lot of directions....................

It's strange to see people once every five years or so.  My friends daughters are almost bigger than me now.  They were little kids last I saw them.    I feel sad they had to leave.
