Problem is that mine took a short stint at a job here, and had emergency surgery 2 days ago. He had settled in DC, but got the interim position because he had business connections here. He'll have a wound vac for 7 weeks and will need home health for that long.

Where "home" is, is the issue...............

I'm being tested, I know I'm being tested.......................     

CBB - tell me YOU dont have to do any of the home healthcare yourself? 

Tell me he won't be staying in YOUR home for the next 7 weeks.

Klaas............ I don't know anything at this point. It's a huge mrsa infection the size of a softball. The surgeon said another 18-20 hours, and he would have died. No, I'm sure I wouldn't have to change dressings or anything, and I can always stay at the lake, but he'll have to stay here. He has insurance and it covers home health.

If he stays at your house, I am going to wake him up every hour on the hour.   

At least he will know what time it is.

That is very honorable of you.    They say what you give to the Universe you get back from the Universe. 

Maybe you shouldn't leave out any perishables though.

I have my own jackass MT  and was never married to him - he is my Daughter's daddy 
And he is no angel by any means.

You guys reminded me of this and I finally found it................   

 Are you tired of those sissy 'friendship' poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality?  Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship.  You will see no cutesy little smiley faces on this card- Just the ***** cold truth of our great friendship.

 1. When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry sucker who made you sad.

 2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
 
 3.  When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in. 

 4.    When you get scared -- I will rag you about it every chance I get afterwards.
