I was kind of concerned when you current vet didn't give you a special diet but thought to myself "self - what do you know." 

You and Crystol are still in my thoughts and prayers.   

Next time speak up - with all the emotions it took my hinky meter awhile to kick in and say, logic says........

My thoughts and prayers with Crystol, I like the old vet also, sounds more caring and concerned, I never thought to feed a dog cottage cheese, I bet they do like that. 

Me too and I would have taken her to old vet if the ER had not made it sound like she was dying of liver failure and told me to take her straight to the vet hospital.  But, now we know so you know, I will gladly drive and hour there and back to see regular vet.  Surgeon is about a 1/2 more each way, but I would drive where ever she needed to go as long as time allows.   Confession - I even calculated if I could drive to New Jersey faster than the overnight shipping! 

She just had her first suzie bee - or whatever that is called chicken and I think she tried to lick the finish off the plate!

ANJ, you might want to rinse that canned chicken to get as much of the salt off it as possible.

I did!!!!!!!!!!!!  DS did get one marked low sodium, but I rinsed and broke it apart and rinsed it again! 

You are such a smart Mom!!

Anyone looking for a new monitor, I have an opinion. I got up yesterday morning, and my monitor was ka-put. Had one of the 19" LCD flat screen and loved it.
Well, I couldn't be without my computer, so looked in the sales papers, and found that Target had an 18.5" Acer on sale for $89.99. I thought, wow, 1/2 inch is not going to make that much of a difference. WRONG, and besides that, this thing will not tilt or anything. Hate it, may take it back, but right now it is setting on a stack of books to bring it up to a lever I can see.

ANJ....no but husband make the font bigger and I still get the gifs......my DIL had back surgery yesterday and my mind has been with her so husband just did something and it's so much better!!!  How's Crystol today?

ANJ....kitty is home and spitting her antibiotic all over...so I wrap her gently in a big soft towel with head sticking out....put another towel from my neck to my ankles....and sit in a leather chair to try again.  This seems to work a little better.  I do not think she is well though.  She is now perched on the top shelf of her condo and sits there quietly all day.  She is eating and drinking.

Now, are you using firefox and adblock?   I am going to post something that will help you get the videos if that is your issue.  If it is not, why can't you get the news site videos from WESH - we must find you a fix.  So here it is, let me know.
Read the second half!  It will fix your problem - do it for each news site you visit!

Once installed - if you go to a news site and can't get video or live feed - there will be a red stop sign in the top right hand corner.  RIGHT click on that - and just choose disable on this page only.   That is the easy way, if you feel more advanced there are ways to turn off or on each specific pop up.  But most news stations don't have that many...annoying ones anyway!
