Well it's been an interesting day in these threads today.  I am mentally exhausted (where is my pass out monkey)...LOl. 

So glad ANJ's fur baby is doing better and again Happy Birthday Trimm!  KCJackie, you will hate life tomorrow and promise yourself you will never drink again    

But it's all good!

Well, my vacation is coming to an end.  I have to tell this.  There is a very young couple in the condo where we are at.  They have a set of twin girls about 1 year old.  They are adorable.  Every day on the beach those little girls are out there playing in the sand and in the water.  They are the happiest children I have ever seen.  They look identical.  One loves the water.  One doesn't.  One loves playing in the sand.  One doesn't.  We sat and watched the one playing in the sand yesterday take wet sand and slap it on her head and rub it into her hair.  Me and my husband just set and laughed.  We loved watching these twins all week long.  I told the mother today what well behaved beautiful children they have.  I will miss seeing these kids.  Makes life look so good again. 

How can anyone do anything bad to so many of our children?  I will never figure this out.

ANJ--I'm so glad that your sweet pup is getting better.  It appears that I am always here because I usually stay signed in, but I sort of come and go so I haven't told you before that I have been keeping my fingers crossed that Chrystol will soon recover.  I understand your concern and love for Chrystol and that is such great news.

A couple of weeks ago I was told that my Charlie had a heart murmur so while I was away he had an xray and other tests.  He does have a murmur but it is not a concern and he will be checked again in six months.  I was so relieved and I know you must be feeling relief.

Glad to hear your Charlie is stable and the outlook is good.  All my poodles have had cardiac problems in the past.  I will say, it is manageable for the most part with little interruption to their quality of life.  I am so glad that Crystol has not gone that path.  By her age all my other poodles were on heart meds.  But again, it is manageable and bravo to you for catching it soon.

I appreciate your and everyone's support.  It truly has meant more than you guys will ever know.

I know.  I watched a child walk home from across the street last night at almost 10 pm.  Alone.  I had Crystol out to pee and walked to corner and watched him till he appeared to be going to his house.  I so wanted to walk him home.  I will mention my involvement in researching missing children cases (somehow or another so not judgemental) to the new neighbors across the street as soon as I get a chance.  Their son is only 7 or 8.
