ARNOLD, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - A sour crime: Police are looking for a large M&M candy man stolen from a convenience store in Arnold, Missouri as customers and a clerk looked on in disbelief. Why would anyone want to steal the little guy and why was he stolen in the first place? These are just a few questions being raised as cops try to crack the caper. But there is some good news: the "candy-napper" was caught on tape.

"He had on a red Cardinals baseball cap before he came in and bought his beer a few minutes earlier," said Melissa Crane, a detective with the Arnold police.

Crane is the lead detective in this terrible abduction of one of her city's landmark leaders. The M&M candy display man is somewhere and surveillance video shows the man who stole him. He came into the store earlier and bought a 30-pack of beer.

Fifteen minutes later he returned, bareheaded, threw the packs of M&Ms on the floor and walked out with the display man under his arm.

"In the video it shows one customer actually holding the door open for him while he was emptying out the candy," Detective Crane said.

Clerk Lonnie Joyce says during the first visit the man offered $20 for the display but was turned down. He left and came back.

"Then he picked it up and ran outside with the two girls that he was with," Joyce said.

One drove the getaway car, an early model burgundy 4-door Honda.

The M&M statue costs about $300. Anyone with information should contact the Arnold, Missouri police.

Hey, we are on day three of the magic pill.  After seven days we can see if it is working.  KNOCK ON WOOD - I am seeing her responding more and more.  She is eating again, no tossing her cookies, perking up and even her breath smells better!  Actually, I said that funny, but she had been having bad breath lately and I was just thinking it was her teeth - due to be cleaned, but that odd odor is gone and I think it was related to this gallbladder issue. 
So, right now as long as her gall bladder doesn't rupture and as long as next Wed - the tests show the medicine is liquidizing the gunk - she won't have to have surgery.  If the med works she can be managed with meds or be cured all together. 
So, if you want to have her just say hi via email and tell her if things turn bad I might email her, that would be great.

I'm happy to hear Crystol is improving, ANJ.   

Thanks Muffy!   She is enjoying the peanut butter!!!  The magic med (my nickname for it!) has to be taken with high fat food, so she gets peanut butter and she is liking that! 
On top of everything else, they nicked her in three places where they shaved her tummy for the ultrasound.  They are great vets - but she said she will keep her regular groomer - mama!  I have been putting polysorin on the nicks.  One is really bad, but I CAN fix that!!!!!!
Here is hoping we all have a happy monkey day!

Funny thing is Crystol will just take the med from my hand and eat it, but this one requires the high fat to work.  So now, how will I get her off her peanut butter fix?  LOL

That would be real cute  I think the peanut butter is good for them a little of it. I can't believe Crystol takes pills without having to hide it in something  If I put a pill in some turkey, she even throws the pill out and eats the turkey
