Brachiate   Years ago we had a nieghbor that a Great Dane, when I would go over as soon as I would walk in he would grab hold of my wrist and take me to where ever she was in the house. Trying to walk up satirs with your wrist in his mouth was always fun. He never bit but he wasn't letting go until we got to where my nieghbor was.

My Daughter had a girlfriend that had Two Huge Goldens - Mama and Son
And the Son would go right after me when I walked in the door. He would grab my shirt and or top and twist himself that he would drag me to the floor ... my face and body going towards the floor forward. He was Huge. He was all in Play .. I was a Toy to him. Mom said - Your the only one he does this to ( I think he smelled my cats)...  LOL ... One time he got me flat on the kitchen floor ..only took less than a minute ...  When he got to me to the floor he was bored and walked away LOL

It's a 'dane-thing' and most of 'em do it, or at least try it. But it's scary as heck if aren't a Dane person, or a dog person. And it's down right terrifying when a #140+ pound dog decides to lead a child around. I take Cyrus with me all over the place, even to work sometimes, so he had to learn how to behave politely and not scare people. I encouraged him to learn an alternate behavior. When he wants to lead, he takes his leash in his mouth. He's happy and I don't think it's ever occurred to him that the person holding the leash could let go of their end <G>

I had a friend that had a Great Dane - They actually glued their Lamps down to their coffee tables - because if they didn't it was " The Tail" or replace the Lamps every time the dog turned  around...........
There is a gal that lives in my city and I have seen her many many times, its hard not to see her ..she has a White Dog and he is gigantic ..she is always walking him. He looks like he is walking her most of the time. She has control of him though.

The first time he did it, he did scare me, I thought there goes my wrist. But after that I would just laugh and tell him take me to momma. As soon as we got to her he would take off to other parts of the house. It's a good thing you have taught Cyrus other ways. I could see some people really being frightened bye it.

Oh how I wish I could keep up with myself.  I think the back is going quickly.  Small knives in there just waiting for me to make a wrong move.

Yeah................... he's here. It's not quite as bad as I feared. He feels well enough to get around, and home health changes whatever needs changing. They're trying to get a mobile pump for the wound vac, and with that, I'm hoping he can drive. He's in a spare bedroom, and I'm in my room with you guys!
