The case against Casey Anthony is headed back to court Friday August 21 at 9:30am. Casey's attorney Jose Baez filed a series of motions.

One motion asks the head of Texas-based search group Equusearch, Tim Miller, be certified as a material witness.

Another motion asks a judge to delay the trial in the check fraud against Casey Anthony. Casey Anthony's defense filed a motion in response to a motion for determination of a new trial date.

I have a feeling they are going to get the fraud case postponed until after the murder trial.......but HOPE this will also move the murder trial forward!

Casey Anthony Charged With Murder In Death Of Daughter

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Casey Anthony defense team is demanding more phone records from one of her ex-boyfriends.
The defense wants records of all of Tony Lazzaro's phone calls and text messages from the time Anthony's daughter, Caylee, vanished last summer through January 2009.

Anthony's attorneys said they need Lazzaro's cell phone records to "search for the truth."

Anthony's defense team claims Lazzaro has been uncooperative with them.

In July 2008, Lazzaro allowed detectives to secretly record a conversation he had with Anthony's brother, Lee Anthony.

Casey Anthony, 23, remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in the death of Caylee, whose remains were discovered in a wooded lot in December. Casey Anthony has pleaded not guilty.

  What a crocka...we KNOW the truth already!! I hope this pizzes off the prosecution and the judge. I am of the opinion that everyone has been too damn lenient and patient with BOZO et al and it's time to really slap them down.  They really are a disgrace to the judicial system. Good Morning Monkeys!

It almost seems as though Bia$$ and company should be careful about seeking the truth through Tony's cell phone records.  They may just find it and then it is a "Be careful what you wish for" kind of thing. It sure seems to me they are grasping if they are concentrating on Tony's phone records.......I would think they would be looking at the strong evidence against her at this point and concentrate on what is going to put her away.

NeJame said he will hand over documents, disks of information and photos regarding the Texas-based group’s search for Caylee Anthony last year.

So maybe today will only be about what TES's involvement in the case.

I am fairly sure, but will try to check it out, that he could reveal and testify to things others said...like Lee or the PI's. He of course can't reveal anything that wowuld break the A/C relationship.

I can't see that this will do them any good at all. Tim is on the record saying they were at least 600 ft or so from the actual site IIRC. I wonder if he will turn over the volunteers info? I hope not. Several of our Monks including MYTIME and her PT searched for Caylee. I am sure they don't want their private and personal info turned over to the defense.  I wouldn't!!

I think he meant it didn't exist as in a legal sense.  He is an attorney and he explains why BOZO was stupid for not paying them a dollar in this transcript and discusses this agreement.  http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0907/20/ng.01.html

The only line that bugs me in that agreement was that vague line of any other issue will be resolved in favor of not incriminating the defendant.

I can understand Bozo "seeking the truth"......considering he hasn't obtained one lick of truth from his client.....
