With the Casey Anthony case, the drama never ends.

Even a low-key news conference ultimately generates fireworks.

George Anthony, Casey's father, stormed into a news conference this afternoon.

"Apparently there was some sort of misunderstanding," WESH-Channel 2's Bob Kealing said this afternoon. "It's fair to say he barged right in there. He demanded to see Mark NeJame. They went into a conference room. They had a talk for about, oh, half an hour or so. Came out. Said they cleared up the misunderstanding. But they wouldn't talk about what it was about."

NeJame was presenting information for Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch. Miller said there was no way his group could have searched the area in November where toddler Caylee Anthony's remains were found a month later. The spot was too wet, NeJame and Miller said. Casey Anthony, George's daughter, is charged with the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee.

WFTV-Channel 9 captured Miller reacting with surprise at George's arrival. "George barged into NeJame's news conference," WFTV's Kathi Belich said. Anthony was "demanding to see his former attorney, Mark NeJame, in NeJame's own office. They went behind closed doors. And minutes later, the Anthonys' current attorney, Brad Conway, rushed in without saying anything to join NeJame and George."

Belich put the time behind closed doors at about an hour. George and NeJame later came out to say they had cleared up a misunderstanding that started with defense attorney Jose Baez's call to George, but wouldn't say more about it, Belich said.

"How are you supposed to live through all this?" George asked.

I've got a feeling many people would say: Away from the cameras.

Belich said George's action was "possibly just a distraction stunt, because this news conference was a really an attempt to poke holes in Casey Anthony's defense."

NeJame and Miller were releasing the information because tomorrow they will fight the Anthony defense team's efforts to get information on Texas EquuSearch volunteers who came here to look for the child.

No, I got a call today asking if I can come in and do a 6am to 4pm shift. That adds an additional 4 hours to my working total so not going to say no. If someone can take Cliff Notes, I would appreciate it.

I have heard this same quote from Tim Miller several times.  Funny how if you tell the truth, your story doesn't change.

My guess is he told them they were showing crime scene photos and perhaps suggested there might be photos of Caylee's remains.
