Casey Anthony Returns To Court
Judge To Hear 4 Motions In Case

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony returns to the courtroom on Friday.

The hearing is slated to address four motions received by the court.

The first motion is to certify Timothy Miller as a material witness. Miller is the director and founder of Texas-based EquuSearch, which held numerous searches for Caylee Anthony.

Another motion is to bar privileged testimony from bounty hunter Leonard Padilla and Tony Padilla.

There are also motions that object to the state setting a new trial date in Anthony's check forgery case and prevent the state from getting phone records from Anthony Lazarro. Lazarro was Anthony's boyfriend at the time Caylee disappeared.

Casey Anthony to make 1st court appearance in months today

Casey Anthony is expected to be in court this morning for a hearing that will address several issues, including putting off the trial in her fraud case.

Anthony, 23, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie. The 2-year-old's remains were found Dec. 11 -- five months after she was reported missing -- scattered in woods less than a mile from her east Orange County home.

She's also charged with several fraud charges for checks detectives say she took from a friend.

This morning, Orange Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland will hear a handful of defense requests, including one for documents from Texas EquuSearch, a volunteer group who helped search for Caylee, and another for certifying the group's founder, Tim Miller, as a material witness.

The defense argues Miller has crucial information on how efforts were conducted.
