lets suppose that 35,000 stands between Haleigh being home and her being gone.

1) ransom?  well why not tell the FBI (unless ya were saving your own butt, but the FBI would rescue the kid first and deal with your 'dealings' later)
2)  she was sold?  and thats the price to buy her back?  well, that would just say it all right there
3) drug debt...re: FBI
4) black mail...re:FBI

Could be............I just don't get it because if Ron thought MC did something to Haleigh because she threatened to tell Ron AND in the next breath we hear about Ron stating if he had $35m he could get her home. Those two things don't mesh for me.
