Cancun, v/d Sloot, who everyone seems to be concentrating, is prob. upper middle class. I’m guessing his father earns about $70,000 max per year (taking the $1=afl. 1.80 exchange rate). I think it’s more in the $55.000 range. It’s a lot of money by Aruban standards, but I doubt that they’re millionares.

As for the Suriname brothers, don’t know. They own a car-rental, but I don’t know how profitable that business is. I’ve never heard of the Kalpoe family either before this.

I did not want to feel this way but I was always dubious about her posts/motives. Couldn't shake that little red flag waving there in the background. Nothing sinister, just ever so not quite right.

You are not alone.

Oh, I'm glad to know that..

Hi All!

How are you doing?  I've been away for a week.  Sorry to see that Aruba hasn't solved this case.

Which car rental do the Kalpoe's own?

Hi Blah. Art Wood was on Dana's radio show twice. Transcripts are a great read.

Thank you, Klaas.  This is what a family member found out but no one believed it.  Family member was concerned about car rental being a front for something else.

Italy won over France.  I boycott France and Chirac.

Arubassilence is going to continue and Kathy will not take the site down.  She said due to popular demand.

She had the guts to put a link to the people that talked bad about her and made accusations (Michelle's blog).  Evil or Very Mad

I knew.  I was just joking because it was written as if Italy was winning people.  No punctuation makes things difficult to read.  You know that English major slips out occasionaly. Wink

But it was funny the way you wrote it.  Otherwise, it would not have been funny at all.   Wink

CHICKS YOU GOTTA LOVE JOHNNY DEPP (About his love for his wife):

"I just knew, you know, it's over with," he told Oprah Winfrey of meeting French pop singer Vanessa Paradis in Paris in 1998. Since then the couple (in January) – who've never married – have been inseparable. "Our story is love and friendship united," she wrote in a tribute to Depp in French Elle. "I have the impression that no one could love the way we love."

Not his wife.  Mother of his children though, but they never wed.
