Very interesting that his birthday is November 11.

I found this time line in Blink's chapter 5:

snipped.

http://blinkoncrime.com/2009/08/22/christine-sheddy-case-murder-in-marylandchapter-5/

November 11

Another party at the Farmhouse, day before Veterans day. At about 6 PM there were already 15–20 people there. There was a trough filled with ice and beer set up in the outbuilding, and a fire raging in the burn pit.

JR was filling bottles and cans with gas, ripped pieces of cloth and lighting them and throwing them in the fire making explosions for his amusement while there were kids running around.

November 12

Possibly, Christine spoke to her sister this day. Q speaks to Christine after 9PM. He is concerned and asks Christine if he should come get her. She said Levi is coming. She did not say when, or for what reason.

They say goodnight and Christine bathed the boys and put them to bed.

Q was due to call her back that evening, he did not reach Christine.  Q heard the equivalent of “cat calls” during their conversation. Very, very loud.

Christine is murdered.

snipped from chapter 6

http://blinkoncrime.com/2009/08/27/christine-sheddy-casemurder-in-maryland-chapter-6/

Pocomoke City, MD– The last time Christine Sheddy’s bestQ friend “Q” spoke to her at approximately 9:30Pm on November 12th she was trying to whisper something to him. He could not hear her. He heard a guy in the back talking about how they were gonna keep her, she’s so good to them, so nice to look at.. You get the picture. Skeeve Meter twenty out of ten.

Christine put him on the phone with Q as he kept following her around talking in the background. Q describes the voice on the other end of the phone as a red kneck. Definately not JR or Dominick. Justin and Q chat for a few seconds with the regular niceties.

Sheddy Murder Suspect - Latest News
by - Ryan Hughes

SNOW HILL, Md. - A man who police believe killed a missing woman back in 2007 is behind bars tonight.
The suspect was arrested in Texas and extradited to Worcester County this week.
Almost two and a half years later since Christine Sheddy went missing, police found her remains at the River House Inn, a bed and breakfast in Snow Hill.

"There was a witness who directed us to the location where the body was found," said Joel Todd, State's Attorney for Worcester County.
Witnesses also told police Justin Hadel was linked to the murder. Hadel, who is now 19, stayed as a guest at a Byrd Road house in Pocomoke in 2007. The same house Sheddy stayed at.
Todd is not releasing many details regarding the case, but he says witnesses have been withholding information.
"The witness indicated that the crime happened in November of 2007 but the witness didn't tell us that in 2007, they told us that recently," said Todd.

Hadel was transported to the Worcester County jail on Tuesday and is being held without bond.

"We won't know until we get through the end of the investigation who if anyone else may be charged," said Todd.

Hadel was 17 at the time of the alleged murder.
If convicted, he will be charged as an adult.

Hadel is facing charges for first and second degree assault and murder.

After reading back through Blink's articles, I won't be surprised if there are other arrests coming.

Thank you Blink for bringing this to our attention.  And thank you to all involved in working to find Christine & bring justice.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Lynn, and your grandchildren.   an angelic monkey

Good Good News!  Now to get the rest of the crew!  Now we have a clue about all those cars coming and going from the property on the neighbors security system.

Awesome job Blink!  You are a wonderful person who does not carry her job lightly.  Your loyalty, dedication and patience are endless.  You definatly have "superhuman hero" status in my book.

Christine's Mom words escape me for all the pain you have been through.  Christine is where she needs to be now.  I know from watching her case that the battle is not over yet.  All parties guilty need to be exposed and tried in court.  We will get there.  I know Christine is guiding you and giving you the strength to carry on.  You never let her down you persisted and fought through it all.  All the lies, all the crap yet you stood strong for your daughter and knew in your heart Christine's truth.  God Bless you Christine's Mom!

Todd said there was very little he could say about the case, which is still under investigation by his office, the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation and the Maryland State Police.

However, if Hadel is found guilty of murder, he will likely not face capital punishment for the killing, Todd said.

"In order to get the death penalty in Maryland, there has to be certain aggravating factors that are not off-set by mitigating factors" like additional killings or rape, Todd said. "I do not think this is the type of case that is going to have aggravating factors."

Dodenhoff has not said anything publicly about the discovery of her daughter's body or the arrest of her alleged murderer.

"At this time, she is in seclusion with Christine's children, helping them to begin the healing process," said Mandy Albritton, a spokeswoman for the family. "I can tell you that they are comforted to know that their mommy did not leave them."

MILFORD, Del.- A public funeral service for a murdered Delmarva woman will be held this weekend.

The funeral service for Christine Sheddy will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at Milford First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Barratt's Chapel in Frederica.

Sheddy was first reported missing in November 2007. More than two years later, prosecutors said a witness led them to her skeletal remains behind a bed-and-breakfast in Snow Hill, Md. According to the State's Attorney Joel Todd, 19-year-old Justin Michael Hadel of Texas is being held in the Worcester County Jail without bond on the charges of first-degree murder and first-degree assault. Hadel was a guest at the same house in Pocomoke where Sheddy was also staying when she disappeared.

Sheddy, who was 26 at the time of her death, is survived by three children. A representative for the family said her father will also fly in for the funeral this Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Christine Sheddy Memorial Fund through the First National Bank of Wyoming, 7 Commerce Street, Harrington, DE 19952.

Is This the End or Simply Just the Beginning?

As Christine Sheddy’s family prepares to lay her body to rest tomorrow, one chapter of this horrific drama closes, as a brand new one unfolds.

Yes tomorrow will bring closure to quest of finding and laying to rest this young mothers remains, but it also is just the beginning of what appears to be a very long road ahead of them in the capture and prosecution of the horrible individuals who did this to her.

In the meantime, I will be attending the funeral tomorrow and stand by the woman who has become my friend over the last two years and support her as she says her final goodbye’s to her daughter.

Please keep Christine’s family in your prayers tomorrow and over the next few months as this case proceeds to the next level, and if you possibly can please find it in your hearts to make a donation to the Christine Sheddy Memorial fund to help pay for her burial expenses.  Lynn has not only lost a daughter but she has also gained full responsibilty of Christine’s three children, so at this point every little bit helps.

To make a donation simply go to 3View Search Services and click on the drop down window that says Christine Sheddy Memorial Fund.  Pay Pal will accept all major credit and debit cards.

Funeral Held for Christine Sheddy

"We are here to celebrate her life as a person, as a great mother, as a great friend" said Brandi Bacon

Bacon grew up with Christine. She says it hurts to see her friend taken away too soon. Bacon says Christine wouldn't want them to cry.

"She was the strong one out of all our friends" said Bacon. "If anyone had a bad day she was the one that was on the phone cracking some crazy joke to make sure you are laughing she hated to see people upset."

Friends say it's been a tough time for Sheddy's family.

"Her mother has never given up fighting and searching for her and she is going to need a lot of prayers" said Dorothy Doneker, a close family friend.

Friends believe the service brings some comfort.

"This is just the beginning of the healing process for the family and for the children" said Doneker". The kids at least know that their mother never would have left them. She'll be with them in their hearts forever".

Christine Sheddy was buried at Barratt's Chapel in Frederica, Delaware. Prosecutors charged a 19 year old Texas man in connection to Christine's murder.

It's a wound that never quite closes and is fresh as different milestones of her family are reached.  God bless Christine and those who loved her.  May there come a time when they experience peace.
