I'd stay consistent, and make the thread change at 50.  For other threads that have passed the 50 from a ways back and before we started the thread changes to 50, they should go to 100 from what I understand.  So yeah, change it at 50.

Have seen absolutely nothing in the local papers. Do you know if the motions hearing happened.

Sister, postponed until August. Will advise.

I have been trying to keep up with Christine's case.

I am wondering if the motions hearing actually was in August?

Nothing on Blink's site nor here..and I know Sister has her plate full as far as trying to attend..but I am thinking that maybe it was postponed again?

I haven't seen anything in the local media, but then again I am not reading the papers as carefully as I generally do.

I know it's late, I know you're weary
I know your plans don't include me
Still here we are, both of us lonely
Longing for shelter from all that we see
[/b]

Tomorrow will be the final prosecutions in Christine's case.

Clarence "Butch" Jackson and Tia Johnson are pleading for respective sentences tomorrow in the death of Christine Sheddy.

I cannot say enough about Lynn  Dodenhoff, Christine's Mom and now the guardian of her children.

I cannot underscore the vitriol we experienced during the investigation into Christine's disappearance- even by those who professed to care.

I stood over this young lady's execution site and knew it- when investigators kept saying it was not a crime scene.

My deepest and heartfelt praise to all those that asssisted or supported this case in any way.

Most importantly, to Christine- atta girl.  We find what we need, don't we? In this life or the next.

God Bless You and Rest You, C.

Lastly- you can tell your Mom to stop riding my ass now.  She could not have worked harder for you and your babies.

I know, y'all have ONE MORE THING TO SAY

Just heard Clarence got life inprisonment with all but 30 years suspended.
Tia Johnson got 15 years with half suspended.
I know I had hoped for more time, but this is better than nothing.
Thanks to Christine's family for never giving up and to Blink for being such an abiding force!

SHEDDY MURDER: Couple plea bargains in cover-up
October 11, 2012

SNOW HILL -- A couple involved in the 2007 slaying of a Delaware woman have agreed to a plea deal that will send them both to prison for being accessories to murder.

Tia Johnson, 32, and Clarence Jackson, 38, were sentenced this morning in Worcester County Circuit Court for their involvement in the murder of Christine Sheddy, who was 29.

Both agreed to an Alford plea, which is not an admission of guilt, but acknowledges prosecutors have enough evidence for a guilty verdict.

2 Sentenced to Prison in Worcester County Murder Case

 ::snipping2::
On Thursday morning, Circuit Court Judge Thomas Groton III sentenced 38-year-old Clarence Jackson to 30 years in prison and 32-year-old Tia Johnson to 7-and-a-half years behind bars for the roles they played in the murder of Christine Marie Sheddy.

The 26-year-old Milford, Del., mother of three disappeared from a Pocomoke City home in November 2007. Her skeletal remains were found in March 2010 buried behind a bed and breakfast in downtown Snow Hill.

Jackson and Johnson were charged as accessories after the fact in that they helped to move and conceal Sheddy's body.

Twenty-one-year-old Justin Michael Hadel of College Station, Texas, is serving life without parole for Sheddy's murder. Court records show Hadel killed Sheddy on or about Nov. 13, 2007, at a home at 2911 Byrd Road in Pocomoke City.

Both Jackson and Johnson are being held at the Worcester County Jail pending their transfer to the Department of Corrections.

Murder Case Accomplices Sentenced After Guilty Pleas
October 12, 2012

SNOW HILL -- Just over a year after a Texas man was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Christine Sheddy, a Delaware woman reported missing in 2007 whose remains were later found buried under a Snow Hill bed-and-breakfast, the other shoe dropped on Thursday for a pair of Lower Shore residents who assisted in covering up the heinous crime.
Clarence “Junior” Jackson, 38, of Eden, pleaded guilty on Thursday in Worcester County Circuit Court to first-degree murder for his role in Sheddy’s death and was sentenced to life in prison with all suspended but 30 years. Tia Johnson, 32, pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact and burglary and was sentenced to 15 years, of which half was suspended.
While Justin Hadel was convicted of striking Sheddy several times with a shovel last year, crushing her skull and resulting in her death, Jackson also had a role in the murder and has since admitted being the “ringleader and mastermind” behind the cover-up. For her part, Johnson knew more about the murder than she originally admitted and drove to the River House Bed-and-Breakfast knowing Sheddy’s remains were in the trunk and waited while Hadel and Jackson reburied her remains.
Much more...

You're welcome.  There's nothing that can bring Christine back, but those that raised their hand against her and those that had knowledge and helped hide it are at least receiving some punishment.

Rest in peace Christine  an angelic monkey

I am so sick and tired of Plea Bargains...Really..the criminals get to bargain while the victims have no say.  And in this case the victim was killed on their property, transported to another location and buried in a makeshift grave..oops where Tia had worked  and the case covered up by the two seeking a plea bargain....I have had it with the justice system in general..but particularly in this case...due to the history of those involved, the local LE and the need for outside enforcements to get the job done and find Christine and bring the perps to justice.  How in the hell, where in the Constitution does it say these scum get to bargain..ehy..Christine didn't get that chance..her family doesn't have that chance..just another miscarriage of justice...Tia and JR should be in jail for the rest of their lives if the judge and LE want to keep their community safe..a plea bargain..pfft.
