Wow, I just got back from shopping, Home Depot, JoAnnes and grocery    Magic so glad everything is going good with your daughter and with your sewing. June Lockhart looks great love Lassie  JSM when I walk around the neighborhood the smell that comes from some of the places  I wouldn't eat it if starvation set in. It can be awful I'm sure. Trimm, we got those snakes here, scare the daylight out of me, Zoe is terrified of snakes  There was a lady in JoAnnes with a service dog, on her vest the dog was wearing it said, don't ask me any questions. I'm going to make me one of those vests, but mine is going to say, leave me the he!! alone 

No Rose, it is horrible here today. I guess I need to run my kitchen fan on Saturdays. It looks like church with all the candles that are going in my apartment. You can buy service dog vests off the internet. One of the girls at the pet lodge has one for her dog. I think I will get Josef one too! 

Will the vest fit me? I want one when I go shopping 

No, but you can use it on Zoe and get into Walmart with her. 

Now that would be interesting, she would be sniffing all the food, and who knows what else she would do 

I think Joseff and Zoe would go crazy.People would seem too threatening.Imagine someone reaching over to get some canned good and getting near one of you guys.

I don't even remember the class I took in high school, but one semester was sewing  Another was cooking  What a joke 

Yeah,our class was called Home Economics.It was a joke.The teacher was goofy as he!!.After she retired they finally got a new teacher and lab for the class.I think all kids should have to take the class so they can learn the basics of cooking,sewing and managing.Lord knows it would have helped me.   

That's it Home Economics  That is cool the boys like to sew, there are sewing classes at Joannes and there are boys and girls getting lessons. I didn't learn a darn thing, I don't even know if they offer that in school anymore  I guess the pattern I picked with a zipper in the back of the dress was dumb for the first time sewing, the zipper was all crooked, and one of the sleeves was longer then the other

Pizza Hut is coming soon, I asked them what they wanted for supper, and it's the usual I don't care. So I offered to make sandwiches and Doritos, and my daughter said could we have pizza  They will do anything to keep me out of the kitchen.

I made aprons by pattern when I got my machine.Hubby bought the pattern for me.He said this will be very simple.......I don't like to read patterns.Same with piano lessons.Took lessons for 5 years,and I still want to play my way.I hate reading music.     I do wish I had a new keyboard....

I took that class in 7th Grade. You guys won't believe it, but I was once in the newspaper as cook of the week.  I was going into my senior year of hs, I made bread, cooked the meals for the house while my mom was at work. I had to give the paper two recipes, one was tuna casserole the other was called sassy cinnamon muffins.

I was so embarrased when I got to school and one of the football players started calling me Sassy Cinnamon Muffin. It sounded like a stripper the way he said it. I didn't know anyone would even see it in the paper, but they did. 

Somewhere I have the paper in a scrapbook to prove it. I quit cooking when I became single. I can only cook for a herd, not just for one person.

I have my grandma's sewing machine, and then about two years ago I got a wild idea to buy a new machine, it is still in the box  I can barely sew a button on 

I have a treadle sewing machine and my Grandma's old sewing machine in a cabinet. My TV in my bedroom sits on it. I can't sew either.

I used to have one of those too.I have an old sewing machine that comes with its own cabinet and lock.I have never used it.It belonged to my previous hubby's mom.Now that he is gone I figured I'd maybe clean it up and let my Dad look at it.I think it still works.I just think it's cool cause of the wood case.
Talking about the machine with the stand.JSM,I had my tv on it too in the bedroom for years.   

It makes a neat TV stand, just the perfect height to see from the bed.

Nothing like a Dewalt drill to calm your nerves and if it doesn't go in a hammer will work as well. 

I know it sounds crazy,but I love tools.Even the ones I don't know how to use.

I took the Air Force exam in my senior year in high school and the instructor told me I scored better than almost all the guys in the area of mechanics and chit related to that.
Then he proceeded to tell me about office jobs in the service and I said..... well you can imagine what I said.I wonder if it's still hard on women who want to do mechanics and such?

I bet you said something naughty just like I said to the new people who moved here from NY that tried to mow me and Josef down in the parking lot. They didn't hear me, but the one with the stinky food did.

As I drove past the ATT office today, I realized that I spent on an iPod what an iPhone would cost...only without having to spend about $100.00 a month so ATT could supervise my life with their iPhone plans! Sorta dumb, but this iPod will put off my iPhone purchase and my turning over my life to ATT for a few years, and that's a good thing!

Now, to figure out how it works...... If my grandson was here, he'd have it up and running in 15 minutes!

As I drove past the ATT office today, I realized that I spent on an iPod what an iPhone would cost...only without having to spend about $100.00 a month so ATT could supervise my life with their iPhone plans! Sorta dumb, but this iPod will put off my iPhone purchase and my turning over my life to ATT for a few years, and that's a good thing!

Did you figure out what they are cooking nest door? My boss use to drive me crazy when he cooked upstairs over our office.Currie was his favorite spice.He was Indian,so he used some funky stuff.

As the oldest girl in a family of 7 kids, I was exempt from taking home ec. The teacher knew our family personally, and knew I could teach the darn class! So, I and two other great friends (their families had 6 and 13 kids, they also were the oldest girls) got to be the first girls at our school to take shop. Man, a belt sander can do an awesome manicure! I had the best nails for a whole semester. (My dad had already made sure I knew how to use tools, he taught us all, so when he "chose not to be around" (he was a floating dad, floated in and outta our lives!) we could help Mom out.

I swear to God, if Fanny doesn't come back, I'm going to start writing run on paragraphs that will be pages long!!!! Hell, I might abandon using paragraphs altogether!

Oh, and Steel Magnolias was on Oxygen this afternoon. I LOVED IT!! Thanks to CC for the suggestion, I feel much better and tougher today.

Trimm, I would die if Josef brought in a snake. I am about to go walk Josef AGAIN and Chill. My back is killing me today. I think I slept funny or something.

If I don't come back tonight, I will see y'all tomorrow. I have to go to a different Mass tomorrow because the University is closed for the weekend, so that screws up my skating time, then I am going to go see my mom and stepdad and hopefully they can download my competition program from my sisters camera to the computer. We shall see. If not, I will go pay good money to someone that will download it for me. Like I said it wasn't good, but the best I could do at the time.
