I'm sorry to hear about your doxie "Al", Trimm.  My brother has a black and brown named "Rusty".  He is way cute, but likes varmintin'.  He went after a dillo the other night and after my brother dispatched the dillo, he had to go pull Rusty out of the dillo hole.  He said he was three quarters of the way in the hole, nose first. 

  Muffy that's funny, my nephew has a doxie, but he wouldn't be able to waddle his way into a dillo hole.

Rusty is young and pretty active.  When my brother and sister in-law go out on their boat, they take Rusty too.  He has life jacket.  They put it on him and they all swim.  I think my bro is going to enter Rusty in the Buda, TX wiener dog races next year.  He had just been neutered this past race date, so he couldn't do it

    How funny, I swear I've never heard that term for a fawn before, and all I could picture was a spike in the ground but couldn't figure out why. I'm wondering why spike is used for a baby deer?

My granddaughter has arrived!   She was born at 7:45 this morning.    She is beautiful.  Baby and Mom are doing well.    Hubby and I haven't slept since yesterday so I'm off to catch a few winks.   I'll try to download a pic of the little one later after I get a little rest.

Thanks for all the well wishes.    Here's a picture of my little granddaughter!    Her name is Anna Victoria.   She weighed 7lbs 12 oz, and is 20 1/4 inches long!

I was in the delivery room when she was born.   What a wonderful experience!

    I have heard of the weiner dog races in Buda. That sounds really fun. I will check out the you tubes.

Trimm, your pups are adorable. I grew up with two doxies. The first one Gretchen was a red standard, and Heidi was a black miniture. They are very smart animals, especially Heidi. Taco looks so cute and innocent, Digger just cracks me up, you can just see on his face that he is looking to get into trouble. Bama what a cutie 

I love me some doxies.  They are my favorite.I had one named Al,for about 6 1/2 yrs.He died from a snake bite.    If it hadn't been for him the snake would have got me.

  I'm sorry Trimm. I'm glad Al saved you though.

You can't talk about him in front of my granddaughter very much.She still cries about it.He was around when she learned to walk and talk.

I want to say thanks again for thinking about us and for the congratulations.    My daughter will be staying at the hospital until Tuesday.  Hubby and I are traveling back to her house at that time, for a couple of days.   Anna will be getting plenty of kisses from grandma at that time!

I GIVE UP!!! I got the video of my finally downloaded. There is about two seconds of me during my warmup, then my sister points the camera to my nephew asks where I am, she then zooms in on me sitting on a bench. Then guess what  I go on the ice and after that nothing, nada, just video of the boards and my sisters feet walking down the steps. I don't know what she did, if she rewound over me skating and then pushed play again. IDK. It took my stepdad about an hour to figure out how to get it to play because we didn't have the cord thing from my sisters camera. So once we got it to play, and I saw that I was so and sad. So, I am beginning to believe there is a conspiracy against me and a video camera. But, just in case I am starting to sound like the D****, my brother's girlfriend has pictures on her camera. She is going to download them to my stepdad's computer and I will get pictures of the competition at least. (with my luck she has deleted them off her camera). So to my sister 

I know how you feel.I took 3 or 4 pictures this morning and I could get them fixed.I feed the deers where they come close in.The idiot I live with has a spot in the holllow of the hill side.I asked him how the he!! was I supposed to get close enough to get a good photo.
I have some from last year I believe on my desktop upstairs.It was too hot to mess with it up there,cause my cooling unit isn't working and I am waiting on my *** tax refund to fix it 
I'll try to get some new ones.

Thanks Trimm. I am glad to know I am not the only monkey in this boat. I even tried to up load the crappy video from the dvd my stepdad made onto youtube, but it isn't letting me do that either. Arggghhh, I think I may have a beer or three.
