ask your dr for an appetite stimulator....(yes there is such a thing and no i don't mean pot (well, maybe depends on your state )
unless your dr has given you the ok to lose weight now ( ) you need one.  if you haven't started meds yet it could be depression (not your fault, you may not even know) if you have started on meds its the meds.  And trust me Lady...you look better then cma ever did on her best day, and even if you swelled up like a hot air balloon  she still couldn't hold a candle to ya!

You know, I don't even know my state's laws for med pot....but I wouldn't use it. I was always the freaky girl who got paranoid when high, so didn't waste much of it. I am seeing my regular doctor tomorrow, and have been watching myself very closely for depression. When I think it's heading my way, I kick myself in the keister and do something! I think I'm gonna start walking every evening like I used to. It's the best for everything. (Ok, we already know the neighborhood kids will be asking their 'rents about the weird lady walking while watching her iPod, and who is this "Dr. Who!" she keeps mumbling about! Ah, slowly but surely I will turn our neighborhood into "Who-mania"...my plan to take over the world comes next!)

Tevye, the depression will come sorry to say, but then you will bounce back. Are you going to have to do chemo? IF SO TAKE any medication they offer. Get a mediport, I'm sure you know that by now because of your sister. If you are losing weight, your counts are low, uggghh eat liver. If that doesn't help, they will give you iron. Like I have said, I am not a doctor, I don't play one on tv nor do I pretend to be one at Town Hall meetings. I just know that I have been through this same thing with my best friend 6 years ago. Questions would pop into her head at 3 am and she would call. I'm not saying it is going to be all peachy keen, but you will get through this. Hugs JSM

Tevye, don't try and do everything by yourself. You will need help. Use it for all it's worth. Make them bow down to you and feed you grapes like you are a Roman Goddess! Once you are well, the pampering will stop and you will be back being Tevye the Goddess of Tardis and Laundry. Let people help, believe me they will want to help and will get their feelings hurt if you don't let them. Then when you are well, they will leave you alone to do the chores, cooking and cleaning. JMO JSM. 

Good advice, and I'm learning to ask for help. yeah, I know, when this is all over, they'll go back to making me do my own chores...but ya just can't have a dirty house when your daughter-in-law is coming over to help ya clean, ya know?

My mom just called and asked if I got her email when I was walking Josef I said no. She said they were just at the Town Hall meeting tonight. I asked why I wasn't asked to go and she said I don't go anywhere at night. (meaning I don't go anywhere without the monkeys). There will be another one and I will go to it. Doesn't really matter though, my Congressman is against the Healthcare plan and will never vote for it. I just wanted to go see if there were any crazy Acorn people there that I could get in a tiff with (just kidding) my mom (all four feet 11 of her) would kick my arse if I did.

Mama, that would be the rant of all rants, but I am not a confrontational person unless someone gets in my face. Then I get angry, pizzed and cry, and cant talk. 

its ok JSM...i go from trying to defuse the situation to crazy b!t@h in about 60 seconds....and i mean out of control throwing things at people crazy.....it only started since i turned 30 and i really believe it had to be all the years of repressed anger and being a people pleaser my entire life up until the last seven years. i guess i've 'come into my self' and i am one angry chick.  granted, i've never started a fight in my life (with the exception of daddycrazy) but if i can't talk someone down i tend to go one notch higher then the state they are in...works great working at a bar...not so good a he77-mart LOL

Believe it or not, I actually know how to make liver and like to eat it! But, since I'm the only one in our family who will tolerate it, I haven't made it in like 20 years! Hmm..wonder if they still sell it? I am taking my vitamins, but would hate to have to take iron pills!!! That means prune juice, and I WON'T DO PRUNE JUICE!

And I am going to email you a bazillion questions, so you'll be sorry you offered. I feel like my Dr. is treating this as a "need to know" thing, and I guess he doesn't think I need to know...just yet.

Oh, yeah, and I would definately sit next to you at any Town Hall Meeting and poke you with a toe pick if you started to cry during one of your glorious rants! then you'd be too mad to cry!

A media consulting firm with ties to White House senior strategist David Axelrod has been hired to produce a multi-million dollar ad campaign touting the Obama administration's health care overhaul.

But while lobbying analysts say the move is logical, some Republicans are questioning whether Axelrod stands to gain from the profits.

AKPD Message and Media, founded by Axelrod, along with firm GMMB, were paid $12 million by Health Economy Now and Americans for Stable Quality Care, a coalition that includes Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America, or PhRMA, to produce ads promoting President Obama's health care reform.

Scarlett carefully negotiated the muddy streets of Atlanta as not to ruin her outfit. Mammy, who was still smoking mad about this plan followed Scarlett and complained ever step of the way.

“Miss Scarlett I feel that you have misjudged this wardrobe choice – look at all the lascivious stares that you are getting from all these strange men,” Mammy huffed.

“They just jealous 'cause they like what they see - and they'd like to see the stuff they can't see, see?.” Still Mammy did have a point, the dress they had fashioned out Scarlett’s mother’s window treatments were awkward, but she felt the look avant-guard, and that was what Commodore Butler liked.

Entering the jail, they palmed the guard a fin and were escorted to the visitor’s room and waited. Before long they heard the tappy-tappy of Rhett’s tiny feet slapping along the stone hallway.

“Scarlett! Look at you! Where did you get that dress?” His eyes followed every detail, every aluminum slat, although he found the two bars of stamped steel near her neckline a bit much.

“I got it in Venice – from a blind designer,” she said as she clanked about in a circle. “And Rhett, if you pull this cord, you can raise the hemline, and if you spin the wand you can adjust the slats for easy cooling.” Scarlett winked with the word cooling, hoping it would get his attention, and open his wallet in gratitude.
