Just shoot him. It looks like I'm in one of those moods this morning    Why the he!! should this creature be allowed to go home to die, he can die in prison with no medical attention.

I think it is a bunch of crap that he is allowed out for compassionate reasons. He wasn't too compassionate for the passengers and people on the ground. B*STARD.

I was just reading in Robert's thread, this child was getting beaten for weeks it appears before his murder. I wonder if anyone heard the noise going on in the apt? I swear that mother, who is supposedly illiterate  the defense is going to use that, poor woman she is illiterate and was afraid of Daniel. I suppose it would be wrong for somebody to just shoot them, they are nothing but a waste of space.

I just see no reason sometimes to go the route of the judicial system. I know that has to be, but it is frustrating, the same system that slapped the mother's wrist for causing a skull fracture on her baby's head. And this illiterate crap, I bet she really isn't.

White House: U.S. 'Deeply Regrets' Release of Lockerbie Bomber

The Obama administration expressed deep regrets Thursday over the release of the Lockerbie bomber, saying the decision to let the Libyan terrorist go home was made by the Scottish government in spite of "extensive" appeals from U.S. officials.

Scotland's Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill announced Thursday morning that Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, who has terminal prostate cancer, would be released to Libya. He is on his way to the airport to return home.

Megrahi was the only person convicted in the December 1988 bombing of a Pan Am flight over Lockerbie, Scotland, that killed 270 people. He had been sentenced to life in prison, but was released on compassionate grounds.

"The United States deeply regrets the decision by the Scottish executive to release Abdel Basset Mohamed al-Megrahi," White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said in a written statement. "As we have expressed repeatedly to officials of the government of the United Kingdom and to Scottish authorities, we continue to believe that Megrahi should serve out his sentence in Scotland.

"On this day, we extend our deepest sympathies to the families who live every day with the loss of their loved ones. We recognize the effects of such a loss weigh upon a family forever," the White House said.

The White House said that it, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Attorney General Eric Holder and other U.S. officials had "extensive contacts" with their counterparts in Britain to oppose the release.

Clinton also released a statement saying the United States is "deeply disappointed" by the decision. She stressed that the midair bombing of the London-to-New York plane killed 189 Americans and that Megrahi deserved to stay in prison.

"We have continued to communicate our long-standing position to U.K. government officials and Scottish authorities that Megrahi should serve out the entirety of his sentence in Scotland," Clinton said. "Today, we remember those whose lives were lost on December 21, 1988 and we extend our deepest sympathies to the families who live each day with the loss of their loved ones due to this heinous crime."

KATHY ZIEGLER, LOWER BRULE TRIBE MEMBER: I had an incident happen in Rosebud, South Dakota, with the IHS with my son. When he was 15 years old, a bull kicked him in the jaw, broke his jaw. Dr. Dillon (ph), he ordered intubation on him.

SUBTITLE: Tracheal intubation is the placement of a flexible plastic tube into the trachea to protect the patient's airway and provide a means of mechanical ventilation.

ZIEGLER: Without putting him out. He was still awake when they did this. They did 24 of them. It was just chaos down there.

And I got some reports, handwritten from those nurses, what they said about my son laying on the floor in the puddle of blood, crawling around on the emergency floor, while they were all standing there fighting because they could not find anymore tubes, so they started pick them up off the floor to put them down his throat.
