Thanks Trimm, I sure hope there is some film of this fiasco. I wish that everytime something wasn't going my way, I could burst in and stop stuff

Cash for clunkers ends Monday.    Wonder if they will all get their money.

Yes,I think it was decided they would go ahead and end it early.I buess they underestimated how many people would use thes service.

President Obama says his position on including a government-run option for health care reform has not changed, despite the outcry from liberals over his comments last weekend that he would consider an alternative.

In an interview with Philadelphia-based radio talk show host Michael Smerconish, Obama said a public option should be considered as part of health care legislation.

"I see nothing wrong with having public option as one choice," he said, adding that it would offer affordable choices but that no one should be "obligated to go into a public plan."

"We said that's a good idea, but we haven't said that's the only one," he said.

The president added that the goal of health care reform remains the same.

"Our position hasn't changed," he said. "We think the key is cost control, competition, making sure people have good quality options. If we achieve that, that's the end we're seeking and the means, we can have some good arguments about what the best way to achieve that. But we got to change because the status quo is unsustainable."

Yes,I think it was decided they would go ahead and end it early.I buess they underestimated how many people would use thes service.

And the underestimated how many people would be buying foreign cars.    That means GM (goverment motors) didn't sale as many cars as Toyota and Honda. Stupid idiots. Now they are going to crush all these old cars and not salvage them for parts.

Lockerbie Bomber Freed From Prison on Compassionate Grounds

The man responsible for the 1988 Lockerbie bombing returned home to Libya on Thursday to cheering crowds, and throngs of people waving posters of the convicted killer, who flew to his native country to die after Scotland released him from prison.

I get home and there is a note on every apartment saying the City wants to come into your apartment to inspect for life, health and safety concerns. I was so pizzed I called the manager and she said it was to inspect the complex for code violations. I told her that the inspector would be in for a big suprise because Josef might just stay home from daycare that day. She laughed and told me there is an option to not let them in.

Am I wrong for not wanting the goverment to come into my apartment? They have no business in my space. The apartment management I have no problem if they come in and see my laundry waiting to be folded on my table. But the Goverment, no way!!!!

The City of I***** Code Enforcement Department will be conducting interior inspections of units in your apartment complex on/after August 25, 2009. The purpose of the inspection is to indentify life, health safety, and building code violations, blah, blah, blah...

I have lived here going on five years in this apartment and never has the City done an inspection on the apartments.

They have been tearing down the low rent units down because of code violations. I don't know why they would want to come to my apartments. It isn't the barrio like the ones on the other side of town. I really don't mind if they inspect the outside balconies. One in particular that leave their 4 dogs on the balcony day and night to poop and pee.

My ex BIL works for the City, so I will ask him what the deal is, but I am denying entry since I have that right.

That's what I thought Trimm. The apartments do come in once a year to check the fire sprinklers and I don't have a problem with that, but for the City to come that makes me

That's what I would do also, like I said if they see things in someone's apt that is illegal or whatever what would stop them from reporting it? Or while going through someone's apt they see something they would like to steal and come back later and break in. I really need to stop watching so many crime shows  But you never know.
