I was hearing about that, and who knows, just because the doctor has said he has three months to live, it doesn't mean that will happen. He could live longer or shorter, but the point is he got a hero's welcome when he got back home. There has to be more to this letting him out.

Good Morning    Woke up to a kitchen full of ants  cleaned that all up, will call Terminix again. Then talked to my dad, who is going to come visit us. I just said the first week of October is a good time to come, it will be cooler because Sept is our hot month. Now he is mad, he wants to come around Sept 15. I can't say anything without someone getting mad at me, I'm frustrated as he!!. I tried to explain my younger daughter has concert tickets, for almost a week straight, going up to No Cal and San Diego and around here to see Weezer and Green Day, and all I got from my dad is I am making excuses. Now, I'm waiting for him to call back, yelling that's fine I won't come  I think it is better that I just don't talk, just type

Ants have been terrible here too.
I get the parent thing NoRose.You have to prepare yourself if you are like me.I try to avoid conflict at all costs.
Mom is cool,but Dad can be a little testy,and can make me cry at the drop of a hat.I love them,but if you are like me you panic when here of a visit.Kids always have their own thing going on,and sometimes people forget.
Maybe your Dad will take your suggestions.   
Sometimes I am much better at typing. 
Hubby went to see his daughter this morning,check on the grandkids,etc.The grandson that is with me felt like he was being left out,as his mom will pick him up this afternoon.We stayed here.Caleb wanted to go to the store and out to eat,since his big sister rubbed it in his face that we did those things with her.I didn't mean to make a difference.This little guy never complains,it was so unusual.He said the best time he ever has is here with us.I was in tears.
This is the only place he likes to stay.To make matter worse,his mom hired a babysitter Friday night for a little while.     I did not know,and it won't happen again.I told him I am always here forever.Anyway,maybe tomorrow will be a better day for both of us.   
I am fixing to sit down and do some crafting with the sidekick.     
Just for the record,this morning I really despise the Anthonys.

I'm sorry No Rose you are having a bad day. I woke up at 5:30 and Josef had puked in the floor. Arrrggh not only that he had done it out the other end badly, so I had to clean it up. I don't know if he tried to wake me up or not. Now I am worried about his tummy. No more rawhide bones for him.

    I'm so glad you have such a special relationship with the two grandchildren, they sound like such great kids. My daughter called my dad to explain that week is not good, because of all the concerts. The flood gates have now opened, and I got screamed at, and this is all my fault. I gave Josef a rawhide and he ate the rest last night. So that must have been what did it. For now on it is greenies and dog food. No more treats.

FBI Director Is Disgusted Over Scotland's Release Of Lockerbie Bomber That Killed 270 (Mostly American) Passengers

FBI Director Robert Mueller thundered down on Scotland's justice minister for releasing the Lockerbie bomber, an act that "gives comfort to terrorists" all over the world. Mueller sent a scathing letter to Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill, who cited compassionate grounds in his decision to let Abdel Baset al-Megrahi return to Libya because he has prostate cancer and was given only months to live by British doctors.

The angry tone of the letter is out of character with the normally reserved Mueller, indicating his outrage is personal as well as professional. He also sent copies to the families of the Lockerbie victims.

"I have made it a practice not to comment on the actions of other prosecutors," Mueller wrote. "Your decision to release Megrahi causes me to abandon that practice in this case. I do so because I am familiar with the facts, and the law. ... And I do so because I am outraged at your decision, blithely defended on the grounds of 'compassion.'"

Before he became FBI director, Mueller spent years as a Justice Department lawyer leading the investigation into the 1988 airplane bombing that killed 270 people, most of them Americans.

Mueller said Thursday's release was "as inexplicable as it is detrimental to the cause of justice. Indeed your action makes a mockery of the rule of law."

His letter was dated Friday, and was made public Saturday.

Releasing the convicted bomber "gives comfort to terrorists around the world who now believe that regardless of the quality of the investigation ... the terrorist will be freed by one man's exercise of 'compassion.'"

Hi, Joes Mama and all--Yes, I am furious about this.  IMO they should have kept him in prison and given him the same medical treatment that their own Scots would have received for terminal cancer.  I.E. No treatment under the NHS.  Just some pain medication if he were lucky and it was not too expensive.
