n the latest violence, a bomb blast killed four U.S. troops in southern Afghanistan on Tuesday, said military spokeswoman Lt. Cmdr. Christine Sidenstricker. No other information was released pending the notification of family members.

The deaths bring to 41 the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan this month, the second deadliest month in the country since the 2001 U.S. invasion. Last month a record 44 U.S. troops died.

This year has been the deadliest of the war for U.S. troops. Including the latest deaths, at least 172 American forces have died in the Afghan war this year, according to an Associated Press count.

I'm heading there quick, I have had an anxiety attack from he!! since 10 this morning and my meds aren't helping. It is so loud I can't hear myself think.

  No Rose I am so sorry. Please don't have a break down. Zoe and the monkeys need you. 

Thank-you since yesterday it has been bad. I'm going to readjust my meds again and go back to the half of Zoloft, the whole one is making things worse  One good thing is it is starting to get dark earlier here, the younger ones are in, the older ones are out. I'm afraid the two year old is going to get run over, I really am. I just don't like it when kids irritate Zoe, it is her yard that she enjoys in the evening, and they are barking at her and getting her more high strung than usual  I'm glad your meeting wasn't too long, especially after a long day at work. I'm going to go watch Andy Griffith and try to relax. Everyone have a good evening, can't wait to see what tomorrow brings 

No Rose I hope your meds begin to work. My mom had neighbors like that. The kids would terrorize her scottish terrier, then one day my mom just got home from the hospital, they delivered flowers the dog got out and boom, he bit the crap out of the kid next door. Poor dog was in doggy jail for two weeks. These neighbors had a toddler that would run the streets like that by himself. One time someone screeched their brakes and everyone knew the kid had been hit, but it was someone trying not to hit a cat. Finally someone called CPS on the family. The dad worked day and night and the mom left the older 5 and 6 year olds watch the baby. 

It's awful, and the dog is just protecting. I'm trying to prevent Zoe from going to doggy jail, she isn't fond of kids, they make her nervous. I have a huge sign on my fence, Beware of Dog, that should tell someone something.

I had a late meeting, it ended early. Went to get Josef from school, they said he had thrown up bile in his kennel earlier today. I thought it was just from him eating that d*mn rawhide bone.

When I get him outside he eats some grass I think cause he has a belly ache. No big deal. He does that alot when I get him from daycare.

On the way home he is panting, no different than usual. I walk him when we get home to see if he needs to go pee he sniffs, walks around tries to go into some bushes where there is a cat all the time.

We get back upstairs he is going ballistic, chewing his paws, scratching, etc. I am frantically searching for benadryl. Can't find any, he walks into the kitchen and his eyes are almost swollen shut. I grab my keys, purse and put him in the car. Call the vet to tell them I am on my way.

They drag him inside to a room, the tech comes in was like OMG Joe, your muzzle is swelling before my eyes and he was panting like crazy.

So they gave him two shots, a steroid and benadryl. His eyes aren't swollen right now and he isn't panting, but he is chewing his feet. Vet said it is like when a person gets hives. I just thought he was going into anaphaltic shock. 

Thank God it was nothing worse. 

But the steroids will make him have to go pee about 20 times tonight. He is digging his hole in the bed, so maybe he will get a good night sleep.

Sorry for being Debby Downer, just needed to vent. Plus it cost $150 which is a lot less than I thought it would cost so that is a plus. 

OMG poor Josef, hives not good, did he have hives on his eyes? Yes you can have that I have  I have pills for hives but don't know if they are steroids, did it knock Josef out, because they are strong. Was it something at the vet that caused allergies? He vomited bile, that is what Zoe does when her irritable bowel acts up, maybe the doctor can check and see for that. My thoughts and prayers for him to feel better  I use to have to take baths with some oatmeal stuff for the itching, but I suppose with a dog that wouldn't be a good idea, but they must have some ointment or something for itching.

Glad the baby and mommy are doing well. Read back about No Rose's husband on Ambien. You will laugh your arse off.

       I've been reading back this morning - you're right, NoRose's Ambien stories are a hoot.

2, 4, 5, three 6 year olds, 8, 10 12 and assorted others I don't know their ages. The parents throw them out to terrorize. They have gotten numerous letters from the association, but the parents have a screw you attitude. It's maddening.

  I hate people like that, I guess it is too early in the evening for a curfew. 

I hate people like that, too.    We had a situation like that in the townhouse complex I live in.  There was a 5-year old little girl that kept playing in the parking lot alone.  Some of the neighbors were afraid she was going to get hit by a car, so they called the police.   When the cops came, they found out mom wasn't even home.   The mother was arrested.   Some people shouldn't be allowed to be parents.

I was basically told that we aren't responsible for how parents watch their kids, I said I can understand that, but all the rules are being broken. She says to me if a child gets run over then the parents will watch their kids better, and she added God forbid for good measure. I can't believe she would even say such a thing. I told her I'm worried that the two year old is going to get hit, he almost did a couple months back.

Hey KatGram, wanna share stories? In the fog of diagnosis and waiting for a Dr. apt...I missed a lot!

My update is that dammitall, I still have breast cancer! Carp, I was thinking maybe all the waiting and the wrong test results and such would give God time to change his mind, but noooooo. Still there, and now I have to have some wire thingy put in before surgery cos the darn lump isn't as well defined as it was before. I told them if they stick a few needles in there and take stuff out it would ruin the structural integrity of the lump! Did they listen? No! Does that mean more needles where it really really hurts? Hell yes! Will I be demanding drugs as soon as I walk into the hospital on surgery? You bet your..uh...well, yeah, I will.

But I'm not as scared (mostly), still have my freak out moments, and then I come here for a laugh. The Ambien stories had me actually laughing out loud, DH had to check on me! That's why I love this place, it's always good for a laugh. But, this ABBA carp has got to stop!!!!!!!!!
