People are struggling, and there he is golfing, swimming, playing basketball and eating fine meals, in a very fine house, he makes me sick. No consideration at all. I don't care if he has a vacation, but it should have been very low key, it is not appropriate.

I bet just one of his meals would cover all my doctor's visits, which our insurance doesn't cover. And probably his "snack" money would cover our perscriptions, which are also not covered. There's a reason I call him the obamination! How much longer do we have to endure his bs? 3 years? argh!

I hate those cones, Zoe kept walking into everything, and was all disoriented.

Josef looked like a vacuum cleaner. I just found the cone, he will be wearing it once we get back from our next walk. I promised him we would go water the plants, that way he can bark from the balcony. BBL. 

When our cattle dog had to wear a cone, we called her " Ol' Bucket Head" and made up stories about her, and the small town full of hicks that she lived in. She looked so silly, and the poor thing *knew* she looked silly, and she was embarrassed. But it was too hard not to laugh, so we gave her lots of extra treats. Uhm...yeah, she did have a weight problem.

When Josef had to wear his cone, he was so pitiful because he knew he looked ridiculous. I swear they know when they look stupid. When he gets a bath and a new bandanna, he comes prancing out like he is king of the world.

I popped open a beer and looked around and started laughing.

I told them I was kidding,now get off your azzes and talk to people,raise some he!!.    Fight,don't go down without a fight.   

They were probably looking at you like you flipped out. This is the change people wanted, they got it. No insurance and the other barely hanging on, and so many, many others in the same position, and there Obama is having a ritzy vacation, that a lot of us could only dream of.

Your prescriptions aren't covered? Have you tried at Walmart where some of the prescriptions are 4 dollars? I went and got a list to see what prescriptions were 4 dollars, they have a lot, but none of course that we take. Or with some, if you ask the doctor for samples , at least my doctor is good at that. The cost of prescriptions are mind boggling, do people still get prescriptions from Canada I know a few years back people were.

It was a fun day wasn't it?         Those songs bring back lots of memories.

And it made doing the 20 quarts of beans (kinda a small batch this year, my uncle the bachelor farmer knew better than I how tired it would make me) a heck of a lot more fun!! Now I totally need a nap!

Nope, just plain old homegrown green beans. I was going to vaccum seal them, but too much moisture, so they'll be the ones with ice crystals on them. I have a feeling I'll be eating more than I want of them...seems my diet will have to become more balanced. Drat, I was thinking living on yogurt and wheat thins was a good thing, as long as I took my vitamins. Can't take the vitamins or the calcium till after the surgery. Wonder why? Still haven't bought the liver, but I will..and I'll eat it, and I'll like it. With lots of onions. Cooked for at least 2 hours.

I love green beans. You can't live on wheat thins and ugh yogurt.

Not sure about the vitamins or calcium until after surgery. Tevye, may I ask a nosy question? Will you be having chemo? I have a reason for asking, not to pry. TIA JSM 

PS, LIVER stinks and looks disgusting no matter how you cook it. 

JSM< the plan is lumpectomy, SNB, and then if those darn sentinel lymph nodes did their job, just radiation. Don't want chemo....who knows what my hair would grow back looking like? Well, maybe if it had a natural curl to it, that would be ok.

People fell for Obama's flowery talk, the media gushing all over him, and all the young people who voted for him. Where are all those young people now I wonder? What do they care, they are young, it's party time, why worry about health care, cap and trade, and all the other issues. Granted some kids do worry, but when I was young, I didn't think about issues that were going to affect me in my later years.
