Great pics    Does anyone know what to put on bug bites, I have Benydrl on a stick, but that is pointless. I have bites on both arms, guess they don't like anyother parts of me  Something outside is biting me, I did about 15 min of work, before the heat almost knocked me out. All of you in cooler weather, can we trade places? Even would be happy to stay in snow and below zero temps, last chance 

I only know take a bath in bleach water if you have chiggers other than that I don't know No Rose. Use some Off before you go outside.

    I don't know what a chigger is, but it doesn't sound good. Do you really think Obama won't have a Christmas tree, I think he will have too, but who knows 

Chiggers are these little critters that get under your skin and itch like crazy. Usually get them in tall grass or in the woods. Bleach water bath is the only way I know to kill them.

I had to do it one more time.   

Hey, will ya'll indulge me for a moment? You know how you're having a rock n roll party for me Thursday while I'm under the knife? That helped me to tell my nieces and nephews what's going on. Here's the letter I sent to all of them:
 Dear (about 15 nieces and nephews)

I’m writing you this note to give you some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that I have breast cancer. The good news is that you don’t! ☺

I’m telling you this so that when you give your health histories at your doctors you will have accurate information.  You know, when they ask you if there’s a history of cancer in your family, now you’ll have to say yes. Sorry about that! These are the facts, as well as I can remember them:

It’s invasive ductile breast cancer. It’s a lump about the size of a grape. Mostly, it doesn’t hurt- but, oh, those darn dammograms…well, that’s another story! I’ll be having surgery on Thursday September 3, and hopefully be home in time to watch my soaps in the afternoon.

I’m sure there’s been some buzz about this among your parents, so I wanted to let you know what’s going on. After my surgery, I’ll have to have radiation therapy for about 6 weeks. Again, there’s good news in that. This year, instead of wasting all that electricity by lighting up the big Christmas tree in the front yard, I’ll just stand out there and GLOW!

Don’t be scared for me. I’m doing the scared thing very well on my own. If you pray, that would be great - and if you don’t, I’m gonna tell Gramma E and THEN you can be scared! Don’t send flowers, I’d rather have iTunes gift cards than flowers. And that doesn’t mean I expect either from you. WHAT IT DOES MEAN IS THIS:

On Thursday morning, when you get up, I want you each to get your favorite music on and play it LOUD!!!! Crank it up as loud as you can stand it. While I’m having surgery, I plan on listening to  Rehab, the Beatles, Dixie Chicks, Shiny Toy Guns, Plain White T’s, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty and Aaron Copland. You listen to whatever makes you feel good and positive. I’ll get your vibes.

I waited on telling you all until after Jessie XXX (OMG, I love that name! Sounds like she should have my little Winchester and a horse!) got home from her honeymoon. I don’t want any of you to worry. Sometimes, only knowing a little bit about something causes too much worry, so now you know what I know. I’ll be fine.

History of the White House Christmas Tree
The White House Christmas tree is a tradition that dates back to 1889. The very first Christmas tree in the White House was when Benjamin Harrison lived there. It was displayed in the Oval

Jackie Kennedy's selected theme was inspired by the popular Christmas ballet, "Nutcracker Suite". She decorated the 1961 Christmas tree with candy canes, toy ornaments, and tiny gift packages. The ornaments were made by American craftsmen that were disabled or senior citizens.
