"Well, the answer to that is, they're assholes," Jones said, to uproarious laughter. "That's a technical, political science term."

The finches came back!

Wow Northern, that's a whole bunch!  Not someone's escaped pets, that's for sure!

I was surprised when they started coming.  I counted 6 in total this morning.  Then the woodpecker chased them away

She's on government business - and they're paying for her to have a rental car.   She has several co-workers in Dallas that will be meeting her once she gets there.   She made it to DCA this morning without any problems.  I can't believe my baby is all grown up now.       She thinks I worry too much.   She's going to text me when she lands.

Your brother is in my prayers, and a prayer for your daughter, I'm sure everything will be fine with her.    JSM that looked like Zoe all curled in her bed, she loves her bed but only for a short period of time at night, then she sprawls out on the floor. She doesn't sleep in the bed, because if you bump her by mistake, she growls and shows her teeth, I would prefer to wake up with my fingers and toes 

     
When my hubby bumps me at night, I growl and show my teeth, too.

This is another song by the Plain White Ts.     True Story - This song was written for the EX girlfriend of the guy who is singing.   I bet his present girlfriend didn't appreciate him writing this song to his old girlfriend.    Man was he busted when the song top the charts.

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Police say a 61-year-old man annoyed with a crying 2-year-old girl at a Wal-Mart slapped the child several times after warning the toddler’s mother to keep her quiet.


A police report says after the stranger hit the girl at least four times, he said: “See, I told you I would shut her up.”

Roger Stephens of Stone Mountain is charged with felony cruelty to children. It was unclear if he had an attorney and a telehpone call to his home Wednesday was unanswered.

Authorities say the girl and her mother were shopping Monday when the toddler began crying. The police report says Stephens approached the mother and said, “If you don’t shut that baby up, I will shut her up for you.”

Authorities say after Stephens slapped the girl, she began screaming.

  I can't stand to be bumped, something just sets me off, I don't show my teeth and growl, but inside I feel that I could  We never stop worrying  my youngest is going on a road trip next week with her best friend, I'm just thankful it is her girlfriend's car, my daughter's driving skills

I wouldn't take to kindly to someone slapping one of my girls. But I will confess, when I'm shopping I go nuts listening to a lot of stuff such as this going on in the store. Of course I wouldn't think of such a thing, but I do swear under my breath up and down the aisles
