My sentiments exactly. She's tried to make nice with me today, especially when I was eating. I usually share a little with her. No steak for her tonight. 

  Poor kitty, no steak. That will teach her to mess with the big red Fanny.

She knows I'm still mad at her. Every time she see me looking at her she closes her eyes.  Big red Fannys that are sleep deprived are not happy Fannys.

You and Tevye don't need to be pushing yourselves. I will give both of you a note for Mass if you need me to.

Chocolate covered cherries were my mama's favorites too. I saved my samples to give to her.  I miss my mama.   

Josef knows when he is in trouble too. I can't wait to pick him up tomorrow. I called and checked on him today, they say he pooped in his kennel overnight. They say he only does that when he is mad, so I am in for it tomorrow. I forget what the rules are for missing Mass, but if it means I have to go to confession before I can take communion, I will go tomorrow. I would rather be beaten with a stick then go to confession. I have heard it is really bad now with our new priest, long lines, and if confession with him is anything like his homilies I would be in there for a long, long time.

I just started reading this about you Tevye. I knew you were going thru the same ordeal as me. You have a kick-ass attitude and so do I. ..
I had a morphine pump in the hospital and felt very Michael Jackson-ish, press the button and it gets delivered. I asked if I could take the unused portion home with me in case I needed it and my DD started the eye rolling.

I had some lady angels at my work who are long term survivors of this for support before and just after. 
My thoughts are with you. For what it is worth, I have minimal pain, just two Tylenol a day, OTC. They gave me some take home drugs, but I haven't needed them. I did get a script before for Clonazepam and I only take 1/2 of a 25 mg. I do take that one it helps the muscles relax and I sleep like a stone. Don't overdo anything, especially with the arm.

Thanks KatGram, I know now that nothing will ever be as bad as the last 2 months of not knowing. But, I can't be too tough, or DH will expect me to pick up right where I left off with chores, and frankly, I need a break!!! Oh, I'm so wicked!

Just an FYI, my Grandma was a very very long term survivor (30 years). She was a fighter like both of you.

It is going to be a long time before my energy levels return and I sure am not going to spend all my time on what has to be done to just survive. I've been pacing myself too.
When I go back to work, I plan on not being the little engine that could any more. And a few of them are going to be told to buzz off, I have no time to listen to you and your " issues " with the work or do it for you.  It will be said more politely than that.

I think what I am saying is that I plan on doing more for me, things that nuture me, rather than running myself ragged.
