If someone has the time, could you tell me how to save pics to photobucket please? Like the little monkey emoticons and such. I've tried saving to my documents, but can't figure out how to save them to photobucket.

Please? Thank you.
Gizzie, I still for the life of me have a hard time with photobucket. I think Trimm or Fanny or QM or Sassy would be a better help with it than me. It took me over an hour just to post my skating pics from photobucket, so I am not the one to ask.

Well I have to get ready for Church. I pray my jeans are dry by the time I get out of the shower. I don't even feel like going, but I need to go pick up the baby. He is going to be very angry at me.

See ya later monkeys. I really want to go back to bed.

Aww JSM, if you still don't feel well, you really shouldn't go. Just pick up Josef and go back home and get in your jammies! I hope you feel better soon!  an angelic monkey
Thanks Gizzie, I just got out of the shower and feel a tad bit better. I am dressed and ready to go. No makeup, jeans and flip flops. I will see ya when I get back. I need to go get more chicken noodle soup, but I really want Taco Bell.

No dove hunting today as it is pouring down rain.     Is it asking too much for a monkey to get a little alone time?
I'll be back in a little while.

OK, Gizzie, here's the quick and dirty on photobucket:
go there, find an image you want. You can either search their database, or upload your own. To upload your own, hit the "search my computer" or browse button. Then find the pic. for the one I'm using, I just found one on photobucket, hovered my mouse over it, and a little menu popped up. One of the options was to "save to my album". So I clicked on that. Then, there's another button that says "view my album". I did that, clicked on the pic I wanted, then highlighted the web (I thing, IMG tag) one, copied it and pasted it here:

let me know if these sketchy druggy instructions help, I am all set up in my bed with a laptop table, smokes, phones,, diet coke, and learning about torrents. Now, if I could just get someone to move the TV (it's right behind my laptop screen)..but my "nurse" for today is DH, and he's not too...uh...nuturing? shall we say? In other words, if I'm bleeding or passed out, he can be bothered. He's the kinda guy who doesn't want nursing when he's sick, so he doesn't know how to do it so well. he will learn, tho!

And he will learn quickly too!

Thank you for your help! Now, can you tell me how to save ones I find here? Like, say I see a monkey that Brandi has redone, like the hulk one, and I want to save it to my photobucket for future use, how would I do that? I've saved it to my documents, if that's what I'm supposed to do, but where do I go from there?

Ugh, I'm sorry, if this is a bother to you...It sucks being a newbie at stuff!

ONe of the best things I learned in college this spring was that men are doers, not thinkers or talkers. So when we talk to them about something, they want to DO something about it (as I call it, the "I'll Do whatever I Can To Make Her Shut Up and Get Outta My Face" syndrome.). The practical application for this is to talk about a project, and purposely propose to do it the wrong way. Then go get the supplies, and if your DH is REALLY dense, you may have to actually start the project, and pretty soon, he'll just do the project because you're doing it "wrong".

This has worked really well for me over the years. When there's a project that  I know he'll say "no" to, I just wait until he's at deer camp or bird camp, and do it when he's not here. Between my sisters and I, we have enough knowledge to even run electricity (I wired one of our son's houses, FGS!).

My advice: Don't tell him you're doing it, just do it yourself. Well, except for sex, of course! (oh, Tevye! and on a Sunday, no less! Good thing JSM is praying for me!)

Hi DEENIE! I hope you didn't take my remark about the SEC and the BIG 10 personal. I just don't get to watch Bama play much, and my hubby is a Michigan State Fan. We live smack dab in the middle of the Ohio Buckeyes, so I am mostly outnumbered around here!

Obama 'Green Jobs' Adviser Van Jones Resigns Amid Controversy
Van Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs," has been linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the Sept. 11 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

AP
Sunday, September 06, 2009
<snipped>
The matter surfaced after news reports of a derogatory comment Jones made in the past about Republicans, and separately, of Jones' name appearing on a petition connected to the events surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. That 2004 petition had asked for congressional hearings and other investigations into whether high-level government officials had allowed the attacks to occur.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in his resignation statement. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

  Somebody call the Wambulance.

TRIMM!

I guess Van Jones didn't stop to think it was his own mouth and actions that caused his problems. Because the things were reported on and shown to be true doesn't sound like "lies, distortion to distractions to me." I guss the O administration will be more determined than ever to shut down free speech, and to stifle the more conservative talk shows. I watched the rerun of the Glen Beck show yesterday about the 37 Czars. It scared the heck out of the whole family. At least the good news is there is only 36 now. I hope the one that replaces Jones won't be someone worse, but just knows how to keep his mouth shut.
