Just got off the phone with my daughter.   She was at the hospital today - and she is starting to dialate.   She has a another appointment at 10am tomorrow with her doc.         They might induce her.
Or the baby may just go  Suprise and come tonight!

I have a cool pre-season football game to watch tonight!
Washington Redskins  vs Baltimore Ravens!      My two favorite teams.

And the monkey cheerleader pom-poms match my teams' colors.

I'm gonna go catch up on some reading,so i don't drive you guys crazy.
You aren't driving us crazy at all  an angelic monkey  Tell your hubby I was hit on the hand more than once with a ruler. I even had a nun take me and throw me against the blackboard because I couldn't do a math problem, to this day I can't do hardly anykind of math, but basic math.
Sorry I had to laugh about the blackboard. One of my doctors at work is very meticulous about his transcription. He says it comes from parochial school and diagraming sentences when he was in the third grade.

Fourth grade penmanship class, one of the boys didn't do well, he had to kneel in front of the class and had to eat some of the paper he wrote on, no lie

Speaking about Catholic School, I remember in 8th grade, Sister Gilbertine, who looked just like a frog in a nun's habit  was giving what they called sex education to us kids. My favorite statement of all times was when she stood at the podium and said, "We should not have sexual relations before marriage, because then when you get married there will be nothing to do." I obviously didn't listen to that little piece of advice  Also if our skirts appeared to short the nuns would measure how short the skirt was above the knees. My thought was if you can't wear your skirt short then, when you still have legs to look at, what's the point, wait until you are older when your legs don't look so good?
Our skirts had to touch the kneelers at church, or they were deemed too short. Allright, fine. That would explain all the girls looking like they had fleas as they marched from Mass to school...we were all rolling our skirts up! Dang nuns caught on, and then made us wear jumpers!

We never ended up with jumpers. In high school our gym outfits looked like bloomers, I swear whoever designed those needed to be whacked with a ruler

So that is why they wear jumpers now? Too Funny Tevye. You girls are the reason poor little girls today now have to wear the ugly jumper instead of the plaid skirt and button down shirt.

Mothers everywhere buying uniforms are cursing your name because the jumpers and blouse cost more than the skirt and blouse.  Monkey Devil!

PS hope you are having a good day! JSM

I need some fashion advice from all you female monkeys out there:

I'm going to a wedding on 8/22 that will be outside at the Pavillion at the Lincoln Park Zoo, with reception to follow at the resaturant in the bleachers at Wrigley Field.  I'm wearing a sand colored linen two-piece suit with mahogney colored dress leather sandles.  What type of shirt would be best?

- white dress t-shirt, tucked in
- light green polo shirt, tucked in
- white cotton collared shirt, not tucked in
- medium green collared shirt, tucked in or not

Come on now all you dolce wantabees.

Plain white tee....it's got that Miami Vice/ don Johnson look. Always hot!
Definately not the polo...never a polo with a suit. And the other shirts sound too hot for the locale. Sounds like fun!

I have been very busy lately and have only been able to read Caylee's thread and a little of this and that.

I was very upset with Caylee's thread today.  Seems that some of my beloved monkeys are upset with each other.  Please, please remember why we all found this special place.  My reason was for Caylee, others have been here longer and for different reasons.  I have rarely seen in my experience here, monkeys biting each other.  I know that we have wonderful mods here and they do the best they can.  We should do everything in our power to make their jobs easier.

This is my personal plea for all monkeys to agree to disagree and not bite each other.  We are supposed to be here for each other.  It breaks my heart to see this going on.  I love having this special place to come to, where everybody can question and speculate and be safe.  We need to keep our special threads, just that, special.  There is enough to be mad about in the Caylee thread without us hurting each other.

I am asking you from the bottom of my heart, to forgive and forget, to take apologies when offered.  It is very hard to see a poster's emotions when they write, we are at a disadvantage to see their expression and feelings.  If you feel the need to say sorry for something, please do and if you are asked to forgive and forget, what can it hurt?

I am putting this out here for all to see, I only email Klaas.  I just want you all to know how special you are to me.  Let's please be kind to each other.

Hugs, Magic

I am sending this to both musing and JSM'S thread.  I want to reach as many of my dear monkey friends as possible.
