I use to have great penmanship, now I deliberately don't because of all the pressure and fear of punishment in school
I always thought it was an artistic thing or something, but now that I think about it you are right, it was something taught back then, not something that is a major subject in school now days.

I have been very busy lately and have only been able to read Caylee's thread and a little of this and that.

I was very upset with Caylee's thread today.  Seems that some of my beloved monkeys are upset with each other.  Please, please remember why we all found this special place.  My reason was for Caylee, others have been here longer and for different reasons.  I have rarely seen in my experience here, monkeys biting each other.  I know that we have wonderful mods here and they do the best they can.  We should do everything in our power to make their jobs easier.

This is my personal plea for all monkeys to agree to disagree and not bite each other.  We are supposed to be here for each other.  It breaks my heart to see this going on.  I love having this special place to come to, where everybody can question and speculate and be safe.  We need to keep our special threads, just that, special.  There is enough to be mad about in the Caylee thread without us hurting each other.

I am asking you from the bottom of my heart, to forgive and forget, to take apologies when offered.  It is very hard to see a poster's emotions when they write, we are at a disadvantage to see their expression and feelings.  If you feel the need to say sorry for something, please do and if you are asked to forgive and forget, what can it hurt?

I am putting this out here for all to see, I only email Klaas.  I just want you all to know how special you are to me.  Let's please be kind to each other.

Hugs, Magic

I am sending this to both musing and JSM'S thread.  I want to reach as many of my dear monkey friends as possible.

Hi Magic, I was in Caylee's thread earlier and haven't caught up. I am way behind. JSM

I made a comment to you Magic in musings, but I will here also. I agree with you, we are all entitled to our opinions, it would be pretty boring if we all thought the same way. But one needs to respect the other opinion, and believe me it is hard to do sometime, especially with politics.

So that is why they wear jumpers now? Too Funny Tevye. You girls are the reason poor little girls today now have to wear the ugly jumper instead of the plaid skirt and button down shirt.

Mothers everywhere buying uniforms are cursing your name because the jumpers and blouse cost more than the skirt and blouse.  Monkey Devil!

PS hope you are having a good day! JSM

LOL! Yes, we decided that just cos we were good Catholic school girls and had to wear saddle shoes (no sh!t, and this was the 60's even!) and knee socks, the boys thought short skirts were hot. so, we obliged.

Hey, JSM, can you have Klaas send me your email? I'm getting close to making a decision, and you did offer input. And the topic may be a little er...gross or touchy for the board in general. (to boob or not to boob, that is the question! )

NO ROSE I thought of your frog faced Nun when I read this story.  an angelic monkey

Pair of nuns help Mo. police nab robbery suspect

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) -- Thou shalt not steal - especially within sight of a convent. Police in Independence, Mo., are crediting a pair of nuns with helping nab a gun-toting man suspected of burglarizing two homes Thursday morning.

Around 7 a.m., one of the women glanced out a window of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Eucharist convent and spotted a suspicious man walking through a soybean field. She and another nun headed outside to see if the man was lost or hunting illegally.

They saw the man was carrying a shotgun, boxing gloves and other items. When they began to question him, the man ran into nearby woods.

One of the nuns gave chase, wearing her ankle-length habit and flip-flops. He got away, but the 49-year-old nun was able to describe him later to police, who made an arrest.

Really? We hardly have any Nuns, there is one that I see sometimes at Mass. She is about four feet tall and 100 years old. She gives the kids the evil eye if they even sneeze.  Monkey Devil!

Hubby says the nuns used to smack them good in Catholic school.
My Dad wanted to sing in the choir, the Nun told him God gave him the gift of football, not the gift of singing. So he didn't get to sing in the choir.  Monkey Devil!

I just talked to my friend. She is holding it together for her daughter.
Now about the suicide note.I did not ask aobut it,she volunteered this little bit of info.
My friend talked to the detective about the note.He said he had to turn it over to the parents but he didn't want to.He said there was nothing comforting in the note whatsoever, that it was pretty bad.
My friend is trying to talk the parents out of getting the note.she knew enough to tell me that it was like something demon possessed,so I don't know if he was into some kind of cult or depressed or on drugs.
All I know is I would have to have that note if it were my child.
I have the note my husband left me and the pistol he used.It is real and keeps it all real.
The note didn't hurt any more than the actual loss. That's just me though.
I don't want this young mom in any more pain.It is their decision to make.
They thank everyone for their prayers.   an angelic monkey
I'm gonna have to knock back a few cold ones after this.
I am so glad I have my monkey friends.
Wow  an angelic monkey Poor kid who knows what must have been going through his mind? I would want the note, I would be adament if this was my child. You go have a couple beers, did you have your ice cream cake yet?

Yes,I had Ice cream and cake.I am drinking a couple of beers.I am so upset with all the arguing on the Caylee thread.       I am glad Klaas was there.

You and Tevye are both incredibly stong women, I admire that. I can imagine, when my husband had his lung surgery and he was home for six months, well I was losing my mind. That lazy boy recliner I wish that never came into the house, and when he pulls the lever to get up, it makes a loud noise, it sounds like he is being ejected from the darn chair.  I really was quite confused on Caylee's thread, I figure if I want to argue, I'll just start talking politics here with my husband
