I need some fashion advice from all you female monkeys out there:

I'm going to a wedding on 8/22 that will be outside at the Pavillion at the Lincoln Park Zoo, with reception to follow at the resaturant in the bleachers at Wrigley Field.  I'm wearing a sand colored linen two-piece suit with mahogney colored dress leather sandles.  What type of shirt would be best?

- white dress t-shirt, tucked in
- light green polo shirt, tucked in
- white cotton collared shirt, not tucked in
- medium green collared shirt, tucked in or not

Come on now all you dolce wantabees.

CC, I'm not good at all with fashion, when I see someone dressed a particular way in person or in a magazine or tv then I can make an opinion. Yes, that looks great, or wow that looks like crap. I'm kind of liking the medium green collared shirt not tucked in though.

But I think NoRose might be right.   Green collared shirt not tucked in sounds pretty stylish - but I would have to make you model it before you left the house.     I'm a big help, aren't I?

Just got off the phone with my daughter.   She was at the hospital today - and she is starting to dialate.   She has a another appointment at 10am tomorrow with her doc.         They might induce her.

Long-lost pilot's remains returned to Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The remains of Navy pilot Michael Scott Speicher returned to his Florida home on Thursday, 18 years after his FA-18 Hornet was shot down on the first night of the 1991 Gulf War.

Speicher's remains arrived at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station around 3 p.m. About ten minutes later his coffin was rolled off the plane draped with the U.S. flag. It was to remain at the All Saints Chapel on the base overnight.

Speicher's ex-wife and his children placed roses on his casket before it was loaded into a hearse. Several sailors stood at attention and lined the runway as the hearse passed by.

Buddy Harris, who was Speicher's best friend and who later married his widow, Joanne, accompanied the casket on the flight from Dover, Del., to Florida.

On Friday, Speicher's casket will first be taken to the Memorial Wall outside Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The hearse will drive by locations with ties to Speicher's life. He will be buried at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in a private ceremony.


I hope we get to see footage of this.

It is amazing that after all those years that they found Speicher's remains. I am glad the family is able to give him a funeral and proper burial.

It is amazing that after all those years that they found Speicher's remains. I am glad the family is able to give him a funeral and proper burial. 

The lawyer for the family said their is a room full of documents on this case.
It always bothered me that he may have survived and was alone.   
I hope someday they have a book with all the details.
