NoRose - have you heard from your daughter and hubby yet?
Yes, thank-you, everything seems to be fine, I just wish they were home already. They won't be home until about midnight.
Good to hear everything is fine No Rose.  an angelic monkey

Don't feel bad about the vet thinking you are crazy, when my first child was born, I was nuts, I called the doctor almost everyday with something. She had baby acne, it is so ugly looking on a little baby, and I kept calling him, when is it going to go away? I said I'm afraid to bring her anywhere with all those pimples on her face, he told me put a paper bag over her head. Of course he was kidding, but since I was not thinking clearly I didn't realize it. After weeks and weeks of calling him with things, he nicely told me, that some mothers get very concerned and worried about everything with their first child, and that they have a name of a doctor that they give to new mothers to go talk to. In other words, you are nuts, and need to see a shrink

I think all new moms are a little crazy.     an angelic monkey
I was really bad. When the first one was about a year old, she was sitting on the floor in the living room, and fell backwards and hit her head against the entertainment center. I was alone, I went nuts, called the doctor, he told me to watch her pupils and just keep her awake. Only problem was I misunderstood what I should have been looking at with the pupils. I put her in the stroller and walked and walked and kept talking to her so she wouldn't fall asleep. When my husband got home I said look the pupils something is wrong, he was like her pupils are fine you got everything confused with what to look at. The poor kid wanted to sleep and I kept shouting her name to keep her awake.

Well that wasn't very nice of Dr Azzhole. I would rather a mother be concerned than a mother that doesn't care about their kid.

I am kinda crazy when it comes to him, he has been through so much so I freak out at the least little thing. I'm glad you monkeys understand.  an angelic monkey
Oh believe me I understand  When I take Zoe to the vet, I'm literally nuts inside with worry. My whole life is one big worry, I sure wish there was a magic pill to make one not worry. I freak out at almost everything
I understand. I worry about Joe like you do Zoe. I am glad she seems to be doing well now No Rose. My whole life is one big worry too. Luckily I don't have a husband that watches Olbermann and Chrissy Matthews.
Yes, but I will say he has slowed down on the news, much to my amazement. Like right now I'm alone until midnight, all I can think about what if something goes wrong, what if Zoe gets sick, it is easier when I have someone here with me, to talk me down off the ceiling  I would give anything to be laid back, but that is never going to happen. And if you are like me you worry about everything, everything that you can't even control, so I can't figure why I worry.
I'm so sorry No Rose, I have always been a worry wart. The monkeys will always be here to talk you off the ceiling. I do understand the worry about Zoe getting sick, I have those what ifs all the time. If Josef is sick, how can I get him down four flights of stairs, stuff like that. I know how frustrating it can be to worry like that. Hugs to you and Zoe on your girls night in, have some fun tonight. Watch Fox News while your husband is away, then give him a report on everything. Hmmm wonder why he has slowed down on the news? Maybe he is beginning to change his mind on Obama and the Dems? I know a few people that are changing their minds all of a sudden.

I hate those cones, Zoe kept walking into everything, and was all disoriented.
Josef looked like a vacuum cleaner. I just found the cone, he will be wearing it once we get back from our next walk. I promised him we would go water the plants, that way he can bark from the balcony. BBL.  Monkey Devil!

I hope Josef gets back to normal soon.   My cats hate wearing the cone, too   The one that had cancer on his stomach had to wear one for a week to keep him from chewing on his stiches.   I felt so sorry for him.

They get so disoriented with that on. The one they gave me for Zoe looked like it could have fit a horse, it was way to big. Some dogs I see wearing them and they are out walking, don't seem to bother them.

I have always been a worry-wart, too.   I think I worry more about my kids now than I did when they were little.   Probably because they are all on their own and I know there are so many creeps out there.   I try not to think negative thoughts and stay positive.  I also trust in God to look after them.   I guess that's all I can do.   It is hard, I know.   Hugs.

Couple things he has said to me, it looks like his mind is changing on Obama, granted he will never come right out and say it though  I don't know what I would do if I wasn't able to come on here and talk, not only is it very enjoyable, but it is therapy also  an angelic monkey

'Obamacare' Supporters Plan Overhaul Push to Counter Opposition
Health Care for American Now, an umbrella organization of groups supporting Obama's plan, and Organizing for America, the Obama campaign organization which reputedly has an e-mail list of up to 13 million names, plan 1,000 events before the congressional recess ends September 8.

FOXNews.com
Tuesday, August 25, 2009
Supporters of President Obama's plan to overhaul the health system, in an acknowledged attempt to reverse growing opposition to the plan, are planning a fusillade of rallies and bus tours starting this week.

Health Care for America Now, an umbrella organization of groups supporting Obama's plan, is coordinating its efforts with Organizing for America, the Obama campaign organization now melded into the national Democratic Party, which reputedly has an e-mail list of up to 13 million names.

Together, they plan 1,000 events before the congressional recess ends September 8. The title for the blitz: "Health insurance reform now, let's get it done."

"We want to send members of Congress back to D.C. with the real message, which is that the majority of the public want comprehensive health care reform and we want it now," said Jacki Schechner, spokeswoman for HCAN.

"We want to make sure members of Congress understand the last couple of weeks is not where the majority of the public is," said Schechner, referring to rowdy town hall meetings dominated by critics of the Democrats' plans.

Exactly, and you are right, the worries just get worse, not better. At least when they were little you knew where they were. That is good that you can think positively, something that I find difficult.

SassyCat.

It was a fun day wasn't it?         Those songs bring back lots of memories.

And it made doing the 20 quarts of beans (kinda a small batch this year, my uncle the bachelor farmer knew better than I how tired it would make me) a heck of a lot more fun!! Now I totally need a nap!
What kind of beans? Pork and Beans?
Nope, just plain old homegrown green beans. I was going to vaccum seal them, but too much moisture, so they'll be the ones with ice crystals on them. I have a feeling I'll be eating more than I want of them...seems my diet will have to become more balanced. Drat, I was thinking living on yogurt and wheat thins was a good thing, as long as I took my vitamins. Can't take the vitamins or the calcium till after the surgery. Wonder why? Still haven't bought the liver, but I will..and I'll eat it, and I'll like it. With lots of onions. Cooked for at least 2 hours.
