Good morning Monkeys - lots of catching up to do while wurking I couldn't keep up yesterday because work got in the way they need to understand that blogging is very important but they haven't grasped that concept yet 

JSM awesome pics of you skating - thank you so much for sharing. Although I know it is alot of work it is so graceful when you watch it.

When Baby Girl was a kitten, her name was Misty.  LOL.   But after we got her from the breeder, she was so sick and almost died.  Don't you love it when you buy animals from breeders, only to find that they are sick as hell the next day??  Anyway, she ended up sleeping in my bed at night, curled up in my armpit,  because she was too weak to walk or do anything.   She would meow in my face to let me know she had to use the litter box.   I kid you not.   So, I ended up nick-naming her Baby Girl since I had to baby her so much.    To this day, she tries to curl up under my arm when she catches me laying on the couch.

Update on my brother - he is out of surgery and is in recovery.  He ended up having a quadruple bypass.   So far he is doing ok.   Thanks to everyone who was praying for him and sending good thoughts.     

Glad to hear your brother made it through surgery Sassy - continued prayers for a good recovery

Thanks JSM I could use a prayer. But at least today I can laugh and just shake my head, and realize I must be in a Twilight Zone episode  Then after all that, I jumped into the shower to find that I was going to take a shower with ants, I didn't even care, tomorrow will be call Terminex guy again 

Eewwww,I am so tired of bugs.the ants aren't as bad now.It's the little thousand leg crawly bugs.  We demand justice.     Bring on the bug guy.   

I found two centipedes about three inches long in my hot tub a couple of days ago.  I had just done the band of bug killing poison granules around my house the day before.  I wonder if they were trying to ride it out in the hot tub?

Trimm - Have you had any luck with a cure?  I took a meander and found this posted on the net.


You may want to try a product that was recommended by someone else on this website. The product is called "Room Shocker" I had a situation where my two golden retrievers were sprayed by a skunk and brought the smell into the house and onto my couch.

I tried everything but could not get the smell out. Then I came to this website, where someone mentioned how well a new product called "Room Shocker" had worked for them under similar circumstances. Knock on wood, she is feeling better, the heat is horrible. Today our forecast is hot, with smoke and haze from the fires  When I went out at 6 for a walk with her, we got caught in a rain that lasted about 5 minutes. Don't know where that came from out of the blue, but it brought humidity with it  I know what you mean about headaches and stress, do you also get a pounding in your chest, and weird feelings in your stomach?

I have so much to do also

Yes, I do.         I've had too much to worry about lately - between my daughter's pregnancy and my brother.  Also learned yesterday that my dad is having dizzy spells again and is going to see his heart doctor Tuesday.  My middle child is flying out to Dallas tomorrow by herself - on business.   She's coming to dinner tonight so we can tell her how to get to the airport.   She doesn't even know how to get there.   She's never even parked a car in long-term parking or anything.   Boy, now that is something to really worry about.
