California could get nine House seats it doesn’t deserve because illegal aliens will be counted in 2010.

Quote
Next year’s census will determine the apportionment of House members and Electoral College votes for each state. To accomplish these vital constitutional purposes, the enumeration should count only citizens and persons who are legal, permanent residents. But it won’t.

Instead, the U.S. Census Bureau is set to count all persons physically present in the country—including large numbers who are here illegally. The result will unconstitutionally increase the number of representatives in some states and deprive some other states of their rightful political representation. Citizens of “loser” states should be outraged. Yet few are even aware of what’s going on.

Quote
The 2010 census will use only the short form. The long form has been replaced by the Census Bureau’s ongoing American Community Survey. Dr. Elizabeth Grieco, chief of the Census Bureau’s Immigration Statistics Staff, told us in a recent interview that the 2010 census short form does not ask about citizenship because “Congress has not asked us to do that.”

Because the census (since at least 1980) has not distinguished citizens and permanent, legal residents from individuals here illegally, the basis for apportionment of House seats has been skewed. According to the Census Bureau’s latest American Community Survey data (2007), states with a significant net gain in population by inclusion of noncitizens include Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Texas. (There are tiny net gains for Hawaii and Massachusetts.)

Quote
The census has drifted far from its constitutional roots, and the 2010 enumeration will result in a malapportionment of Congress.

...

The Census Bureau can of course collect whatever data Congress authorizes. But Congress must not permit the bureau to unconstitutionally redefine who are “We the People of the United States.”

When will control of our nation return to Americans?  Maybe everyone on the globe through internet or absentee ballot should determine our future?

All of this analysis is true, but counting illegals helps the Democrat Party, as it adds seats mostly to the states where their machine dominates. Therefore anyone who objects will be ridiculed, dismissed as anti-Obama, and possibly denounced as a thought criminal by family or neighborhood informants as a thought criminal to those who run the White House web page collecting such data.

Besides, the illegals will all end up Democrat voters once amnesty goes through (those who are not registered already thanks to motor-voter), so what's the point of trying to do anything about it? Americans just have to accept that they had a pretty good run since 1787. They've had the longest continuously operating republic since Rome's republic collapsed, but it's on its way to being a one party state, just as Chicago is a one party city.

Hmmm...counting illegal people...not counting missionaries...

Hmmm...some want to guestimate illegal people and add them...I wonder if the church knows with accuracy who is out of the country on a mission?  Does the Mormon church keep records like Freddie/Fannie/Wall Street?

US Census to Utah: Missionaries don't count
(AP) – 1 day ago

SALT LAKE CITY — The U.S. Census Bureau has told Utah's elected leaders it won't count Mormon missionaries serving overseas in the nation's next head count.

Census Bureau officials, rejecting Utah's lobbying efforts for the better part of a decade, say there's no way to reliably count the overseas missionaries.

"When we be counting you folks, we gonna do some things different and such. We know that most Meskins put 25 people in an apartment of 50 people in a house, so we gonna count 'em like that in teh Meskin neighborhoods."

"We also know that all the black and Meskin girls can have two babies per year (if they don't have twins), so we gonna give 'em credit for those two kids on the census and start sending their appropriate welfare checks when we count 'em."

"We know that folks in states that voted for McCain are just too stupid to live, so we figure that they are dead... and that we ain't gotta count the dead (except those in the minority ghettos cuz they need their welfare assistance)."

The Obama administration has already issued to ACORN details on what they want the count to be, and ACORN has assured Comrade Obama that he will get the numbers he wants...
