Anyone watch "Flipping Out" on the Bravo channel?  It's my favorite show and I'm so glad it's back.

No, but I can flip out on demand! Bravo, Bravo!!!

I really think you would like it - I so want to marry Jeff Lewis (if I was skinny and he wasn't gay - the damage we could do - OH MY!!!) Monkey Devil!

I keep seeing the Fall Avatars and I love them all, but where did the summer go?  I'm not ready to get out of the bikini yet.

ME EITHER! But the weather isn't exactly agreeing with me!    It's cooled off here quite a bit. I'm heading to Nashville tomorrow for a conference.................. wouldn't you know it? It's supposed to be hot here!

Did you see the Farmers Almanac predictions?   Way cold and lots of precip.

I was noticing today that my Pin Oak is absolutely LOADED with acorns. My Granny would say that means a cold and snowy winter! She always said it's nature's way of taking care of the critters so they'll have food when the ground's covered.

Me too!  My best guy friend is a Meteorologist - whenever he would show up for Happy Hour - he would catch hell from every direction.  People would always ask what the weather was going to be like  - he would reach into his pocket and pull out a pair of weather dice.

Just the thought of homework - sends me in a frenzy!   Monkey Doodle went back to school a couple of weeks ago - Psychology!   (she said our family is nuts!)   I told her - you didn't have to go to school to figure that one out.

I'll get stoned to death ( with rocks, no less ) if there's a teacher around, but I totally disagree with homework for elementary kids at all. I used to teach and I'm a Mom. There's PLENTY of time during the day to teach whatever you need to during the day. Kids should be able to COME HOME and leave school behind them, IMO.
