Green Eyes

I see you in the Rafters ......... How is life treating you? How are your Grand babies? School started yet?

Hi Deenie,

How are you doing? I am fine, busy but fine. Grand kids are almost though with their second week of school. All I can say is I don't like homwork time any better with GC than my own. They have been doing pretty good. But the youngest boy has a had time focusing so we take forever to get it done.   But we get it finished.

YAY Finishing Homework is Good Smile
Oh how I do not miss that ....... Homework. Uggh.

Me thinking and wondering did you ever finish your purple black squared quilt?
I was wanting to see a pic?

Deenie, Ty for posting that. When I went for therapy, the Social worker and I got into a discussion about some of the same things. And I am paying attention to this stuff more for the past 7  to 8 weeks.

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW GRANDDAUGHTER TO MS SASSYCAT.
Well Miss Sassy has a new baby Anna. I love babies. Their smell, their toes and the little fingers are precious. Thank God for digital cameras and the technology to transmit to Grandmothers the pictures. I live close to my happy girls and I take hundreds of pictures. I put them on the computer, memory sticks and I get CD's burned all the time to share. I've had a few hard drive failures over the years so I always have everything in more than one place.

No I haven finished the purple quilt. It's sitting on the shevle all folder up. I am hoping after this month I will be able to finish it. It seems right now all I do is cook, clean, etc. As we are all trying to get a routine going.  I will post a pic when I get it done.

GE I know you have to be busy...

I know when you finish the quilt it will be FAB for sure ...........
your Grand Daughter will love it most because it was hand made by You.
I have two quilts "crib size" that my Grandma *( now passed on)  hand made for my Daughter
( they are packed away)
One of kind both of them - she can and will have them when she is ready Smile
I think quilts are just amazing. I rather have quilts myself than fancy comforters ... etc.

Just stopping by on my way to........... maybe Pogo or maybe sleep or maybe fridge.

My SIL told me today her brother had to be evacuated from his house in the CA fires.  He bought it only two months ago
it was an upgrade from a smaller home.   He had a trailer but left two cars behind.  So sad to hear what folks have to go through.

Anyway, I think we should all try to stay a little upbeat........if possible.  It is good for the soul

  Night Monkeys.

  XOXOX

I will keep them in my prayers. Upbeat news. I found out today my 3rd grade GS math is stuff I had in 6th grade. Brother called me today and he is planning on driving out for a visit.

Look at all the typos in my posts.  I wish I could blame it on the fever but I know that would just have you all laughing you butts off and I don't want that.

I like big butts and I can not lie!

My son's favorite song, how did you know?

Hi Monks.....busy day at my house. Checking in to see if MT has posted results of her doctor's appointment today! Not yet......will keep checking back.

I am a Honorary Grandmother!!  WOOHOO  The young couple who live next to us just had a baby boy...he is beautiful...black hair and piercing blue eyes. They have no family here so we kinda adopted them and they, us. We feel like new grandparents for real!!

How wonderful!  (Wondering how far away we are from Sunny's door, if we could be considered next door to next door, to next door.......to next door to Sunny.

MT - We miss you and your jokes!   Hope things went well at the doctor's appointment today and that you'll be feeling better soon.

Oh, that's what reminded her of that song, I'll bet.

Kat_Gram - thanks for keeping us updated on your progress.   The new technologies they have in the medical field are amazing.   I really appreciate the fact that you want to pay it forward - and help someone else in need.  God bless you.    an angelic monkey
Will keep you in prayer.

Thanks, Sassycassie, for that post, it makes my post easy!

Ditto!

Anyone watch "Flipping Out" on the Bravo channel?  It's my favorite show and I'm so glad it's back.

No, I just catch it here in Musings or JSM's.  Not to be confused with flipping the bird, which can also occur.  Is it much different?

I keep seeing the Fall Avatars and I love them all, but where did the summer go?  I'm not ready to get out of the bikini yet.

You can just cover your, um, waxed parts with leaves.

I have more faith in the old ways and framers almanac that the weather channel. Monkey Devil!

Me too!  My best guy friend is a Meteorologist - whenever he would show up for Happy Hour - he would catch hell from every direction.  People would always ask what the weather was going to be like  - he would reach into his pocket and pull out a pair of weather dice.

I guess carrying a dart board and darts isn't very practical.

Okay guys I know I am getting older and all that but when my 3rd grade GS comes home with home work in science with a Science book and has to read and answer questiona about Minerals and where they come from. It seems a but much to me.

Just the thought of homework - sends me in a frenzy!   Monkey Doodle went back to school a couple of weeks ago - Psychology!   (she said our family is nuts!)   I told her - you didn't have to go to school to figure that one out.

I miss MD!
