I live in Florida and have been to court many times in 2 different counties.  I always wore business like attire and looked professional at all times.  My husband always wore a suit, our lawyer was dressed very professional as well.  Actually, every attorney I met was.  Never would I dream of chewing gum and drinking water that was not offered to me.  Never would I wear a sleeveless shirt.  The courthouses is cold anyway. I've seen some poorly dressed lawyers but I think that was just a matter of taste.  I do think judges make some allowances for "economic" status reasons.

I disagree that Florida is more relaxed.  I think Strickland's court room is though.  I am shocked to see what Cindy and George are able to get away with.

Looks who's talking  I say, no shoes no shirt no service!  I hardly recognize you these days, not a speck of body hair.

Klaas - we must put our best research monkey on looking up sudden onset of Alopecia in monkeys before this nakidness spreads thru the cage!

On courtroom behavior and appearance:  Respect is earned not given, Judge Stan - demand it.  $indy and georgie - you have no class - but you know that.

   Well said ANJ.

Here's an update from the neighbor of the Anthonys:

Lee is living on Hopespring. His car is there daily. I pass it when I drive "around". Mallory is there at times. seems to be in sync with the A's traveling. Milsteads have not been there very often lately.

I asked how often are the Anthonys traveling these days:

I don't know for sure BUT it seems that every time that Mallory's car is there overnight we hear about the A's off traveling so that is really all I have to go by. I believe it was recently parked there after the Motion hearing. JMO

Also.....The House of Purpose website is gone.....  for now anyway.  http://www.thehouseofpurpose.com/

So UgLee is getting some "Action" while the folks are away?

So, I wonder which bed he/they are sleeping in?
 puker

News, thank goodness alopecia is not contagious -- nothing uglier than a naked bird!

Even in California, trials I have watched the judge would make comments about inappropriate things, such as talking and being distracting, gum, etc. I guess it is the judge who tolerates, or doesn't tolerate different actions.

Quick - assign our two of our bravest monkeys to go to casey cell and the ant house!  Maybe also send a monkey photographer!

So, wonder where the ants are going in Daytona and when we will get the 2000 pages.

long time no see monkey friends ... hmm, look at all these new toys

I admit to lurking on occassion just to see what is happening with the case. I saw pics of slore in court. Wow. She looks to be 10-15 years older than her age. I wish it was guilt eating away at her insides but *sigh* probably just all the poptarts.

anything else new?

I am good ... been swamped at work all summer. It is nice to know I've been missed and I've missed you all as well. Now come 'ere and give me a kiss.

after being away for a while and returning to see caylee's little face, it is a sad reminder of what led me here over a year ago. I can't even believe it has been that long. And still we wait for justice. I see nothing has changed in the Anthony clan. I guess to have a change of heart you have to have a heart.

Thanks, and lets hope the House of Purpose is gone, period.

I always found that name, "The House of Purpose," really creepy because the house where the Czar of Russia and his family were murdered, the Ipatiev house in Yekaterinburg was called by the Communists, "The House of Special Purpose."  I wonder if any of them knew it. Really bad vibes.
Hey, BabyB, I thought the exact same thing the minute I heard that name.  I had just finished reading a book about the last of the Romanovs when I heard that that was what they were calling their latest scam.  Ewwww to the nth degree on that one.  Are they just stupid or truly evil?
