You know, I've been thinking about the courtroom antics.  When my son had to go to court, I made him wear a shirt, tie and dress khakis.  The Judge noticed and commented on his appropriate attire for court.  He said it showed that he understood the seriousness and import of where he was, and also showed respect.  He dressed down two others who appeared in the most casual of clothing, (tatty t shirt and expensive torn jeans,) and actually gave my son what amounted to a pass.  (It was a minor offense, stupid kid stuff, but we treated it like a felony.  We took it out of his hide later, making him work to cover all damages and also apologise to the offended. To this day, I think he thinks we are worse than the prospect of jail.)  Have the A's ever been held accountable for their actions?  I don't think so.  I relish, (she said, smacking her lips in anticipation,) the day when the mirror shows their true selves.  Although it might possibly crack when that happens.

I admit to lurking on occassion just to see what is happening with the case. I saw pics of slore in court. Wow. She looks to be 10-15 years older than her age. I wish it was guilt eating away at her insides but *sigh* probably just all the poptarts.

I live in Florida and have been to court many times in 2 different counties.  I always wore business like attire and looked professional at all times.  My husband always wore a suit, our lawyer was dressed very professional as well.  Actually, every attorney I met was.  Never would I dream of chewing gum and drinking water that was not offered to me.  Never would I wear a sleeveless shirt.  The courthouses is cold anyway. I've seen some poorly dressed lawyers but I think that was just a matter of taste.  I do think judges make some allowances for "economic" status reasons. 

I disagree that Florida is more relaxed.  I think Strickland's court room is though.  I am shocked to see what Cindy and George are able to get away with.   

MyTime, I agree with you. I think Judge Strickland sets/allows the tone for his court room.  I don't know what his stradegy is for allowing such  casual dress for his court room, but personally I would love to see him step it up!

Here's an update from the neighbor of the Anthonys:

Lee is living on Hopespring. His car is there daily. I pass it when I drive "around". Mallory is there at times. seems to be in sync with the A's traveling. Milsteads have not been there very often lately.

I asked how often are the Anthonys traveling these days:

I don't know for sure BUT it seems that every time that Mallory's car is there overnight we hear about the A's off traveling so that is really all I have to go by. I believe it was recently parked there after the Motion hearing. JMO




Also.....The House of Purpose website is gone.....  for now anyway.  http://www.thehouseofpurpose.com/

I am good ... been swamped at work all summer. It is nice to know I've been missed and I've missed you all as well. Now come 'ere and give me a kiss. 

after being away for a while and returning to see caylee's little face, it is a sad reminder of what led me here over a year ago. I can't even believe it has been that long. And still we wait for justice. I see nothing has changed in the Anthony clan. I guess to have a change of heart you have to have a heart.
