WFTV's Kathi Belich: The reporter murder suspects don't want to see

WFTV-Channel 9's Kathi Belich could be an important crime deterrent.

I'm not kidding. She seems to mortify murder suspects with her questions.

In an oft-repeated piece of footage, Belich asked Casey Anthony if she had killed daughter Caylee. Anthony was rushed away.


Belich has added another memorable interview to her portfolio. Belich tried to question a teacher accused of murdering her husband 20 years ago. Oh, how the woman didn't like being put on the spot.

Take a look. Maybe it could be a crime-fighting slogan: Don't do the crime, you won't do the time with Belich.

wonder why prosecution didnt get him first. The fact is he isnt going to help Bozo at all, when he says he didnt search the place bozo wants him to say he did. Is it just a matter of who gets him first? Like the A.s you would think they would be on the defense list but are on the prosecution list

And BLUSEY that was one of the reasons I was on who was Ohio Jim for so long. I knew he had some important information and wondered why he had never been supeonaed. It was Lenny that supplied the story about what George said about "all the lies" and Jim was there. My recollection that George said he was tired of "living the lies" but I have been wrong before.

Some people have said they think Casey killed Caylee in her room, but that would be if we believe George that she was really there, because didnt she call Tony from a hotel that night? she could very well have killed her there.

It's interesting as I show her cell phone records on the 15th up until about 11:45pm.  They don't resume again until on the 16th at 7:45.

I notices that when they came out and metioned it then. Blink said the LE had them, and they would be releasesd. I think it is very telling they were not part of the release.

I remember you honing in on him...and Numbersgirl was able to finally find out who he was for us.  My guess is that the prosecution was having difficulty identifying him also...hence the nonchalant question in court by LDB asking George.

Wish someone would put a bug in one of the reporter's ears to keep a watch out if LDB makes a trip to Ohio for a depo from him.  Bet my last banana that happens soon.  Bet Ohio Jim heard a lot more than just those statements that LP shared with us.

OK Monks...I need some help....I am not able to find anyplace that states for a fact that LP and company had any kind of listening devices in the A's home.  Where did this come from?  Is this one of those internet rumors that is repeated so often that it is then taken as fact? I hope if they did someone can find where it states it as fact..I haven't been able to.. HELP!!!!!

We weren't able to come up with his name until his picture was posted on the CAYLEEMARIEANTHONY Foundation site. They were showing their kickoff of the Cayleebears in Ohio, and had a picture of the Sheriff, Goerge and Jim that said old partners. Underneath it had the last names and  I recognized the picture of Jim from the summer before. George saying it in court just confirmed that it was him. It was actually the Anthony ego of posting the picture that  made it clear who he was. I guess they aren't as smart as they think they are.

The decision to allow the defense to probe into Tim's records of searchers is more than the surface info they'll obtain. Background checks will reveal a lot, and are perfectly legal and easy to obtain. Employers run them all the time and they include any past court and arrest records, bankruptcies, ex spouses, etc. I can just hear it now, "I can place this sex offender (or anyone with an arrest record) at the exact location with Caylee's remains, and my client has no record and was this poor child's Mother!"

The defense has nothing, but they've got their poles ready to fish in the pond they've been given.

Thursday. Delores Laster is accused of a murder that happened more than
20 years ago and, during that time, she continued working as a teacher
in Orange County.It was a question about her children that
caused her to lash out at Kathi Belich. Belich asked the long-time
Dillard Street Elementary School teacher about the allegation that she
made her two young children help move their father's bloody body after
