I forgot to mention the witches fingers last night in our "stroll" through Halloween cookies. I've made them and tey turned out great, but store-bought sugar cookie dough spreads out while baking more than I anticipated. This site says if you refrigerate the dough before baking, it does better. There are other options for the dough there too.

They really look great when you're done! I painted the almonds with red food coloring, and even though my store-bought sugar cookie dough spread out more than I wanted, they looked like fat witch's toes!

Oh, wow!!!  We knew a woman who brought these to a halloween party years ago....we thought she created them!!  She also made cakes with holiday themes....most often for July 4th was her flag cake.   

She crossed a couple of friends in our group, so she's out of the picture, now.

I don't believe this is something that needs to be discussed here and I don't think it is negotiable.  Klaas as as admin made a decision to ban mytime for the reason 2NJ gave.

Mytime asked to be banned and her wishes were granted.

Klaas is the boss and I respect any decision she makes and I never ever second guess her.  Neither should anyone else.

Okay Deenie.  I can see you are upset, and I'm glad to hear you aren't upset with 2NJ.  I can see you care about mytime, but you see,  I too care about my fellow posters, which includes 2NJ and and Klaas.  The way you came off, it appeared to me you were upset with 2NJ, and Klaas and I'm sure she didn't like being the bearer of bad news.  I am reading what has been posted and I hope you can see why I said "don't shoot the messenger".  Think of what it looked like to us, even though you may not have meant it.  I respect Klaas and her decision.  And I am not calling anyone out.  I am speaking the plain truth.  Go back and look at your post please.  Even if you didn't intend to shoot the messenger, I'm seeing bold caps, and saying you can't accept it.  The decision was made by admin, Klaasend.  You can either accept it or not, but it is what it is.  And mytime has been banned.
